Much much simpler, people who aren't donors shouldn't be eligible for transplants, not fair to expect something you aren't willing to give yourself.

But hey, without Obamacare you don't have to worry about it, it's quite expensive and if you can't afford a really good insurance, you don't have to worry about getting on any list, so in short, if you're poor you have the liberty to die. Is that what you are proposing?

Almost all transplants are paid for by Medicare/Mediciad as is. Someone who needs a transplant generally gets so sick that they cannot work and evetually can no longer pay premiums on private insurance even if they ever had any.

Guess that does put a whole in your libertarian fantasies.

If someone (or someones) discovered:

A) The cure to any one horrible illness
B) Replace failing organs with fresh health and non-regected ones
C) Allow regeneration of limbs, skin, or teeth
D) Creates the formula for the Foutain of Youth

They wont keep it a secret for very long. Not only would they get into the medicial history books, but be a savior for millions of not tens of millions of people world wide. The company that bankrolls such a find would stand to make a very handsome profit. We have many cures for diseases, yet, people die from them every year. So it stands to reason, that if one or more people discovered some major breathrough in medicine science; it wont stay hidden for very long. A doctor could be told he'll lose his medical license, all he owns and be blacklisted if he showed the world a breathrough. And yet, the doctor still does it, because relieving suffering and pain in their opinion trumps the threats every day of the week, and twice on Sunday!

But please STOP with the tinfoil hat conspiracies.....

I don't think so, the possible cure for alzheimer is a registered medicine that's already on the market for another ailment. So if this drug also is succesfull for treating alzheimer, BIG PHARMA will loose their billions in research for their medicine. Nothing to do with conspiracies its called a businessmodel.
Same goes for the cure for aids. It's not really a medicine you can register at all. You just take bonemarrow from somebody who is immune to AIDS and replant it in the infected patient. Again this kind of treatment is gonna be hard to patent. And the regular medicine against AIDS doesnt cure but just keeps you alive. That makes a lot more money then curing a patient. And business is all about makin big bucks. We all know a lot of the time morals are set aside to make more money. As long as it's not illegal companies will try to ruin the competion, thats just sound business right?

How can you not know that these things CAN be cured. They are just not cured for the rest of the people. Of the elite, who DIES of cancer ? None of them. Even the royals who are afflicted with hemohilia because of inbreeding, why don't they die ? Medicine provided by our money.

Who are really the welfare recipients ? Just what kind of fucking work do these people do anyway ?
