If she's already on birth control pills just skip the placebo week. She will chemically skip her period, there is however as always a catch. The first time she does this she may experienced a prolonged period of PMS as well as a much heavier cycle next month. This is perfectly safe for up to 3 months. Seasonal is a product specifically marketed for this use.

Congratulations! I hope you and she have a wonderful time together! You "may" want to avoid oral sex with her, or you may not. If it is late in her period there may not be much blood. I would put lots of towels on the bed to help with the "mess" and since it is your "first" meeting...I would suggest you use a raincoat. By the way...many women get VERY frisky during their period and orgasms help with cramps. Also, don't forget...there are many many fun things that you and she can do together that don't involve intercourse.
Congrats again,
"Sweetheart"

I suppose it just depends how comfortable you both are with it - some women arent bothered about it, others are concerned that the man will be a bit put off by it.  Personally I have never let it make a difference to my sex life .... depending on the mood, it can be great fun - dont you just love body painting lol.

All I would say is, if you want to protect the bedding, put a few towels down and have a good supply of wetwipes.... cleaning each other up can be a nice relaxing thing to do when things have calmed down - I find it very sensual being cleaned afterwards.

Ooooh now my toes are curling lol

The first time I was concerned about being on my period when meeting Master, he said "No problem - you have other holes I can use."

Bleeding is heavier the first couple of days and then tapers down.  I guess it just depends if you are comfortable with blood or not.  My cramps are horrible so sometimes I'm a little loopy on Midol when I see him during a cycle, and I just make him aware of it so he doesn't wonder about that spaced look on my face before he even takes me to subspace, lol.  I do find that very strong activity and orgasms will cause a heavier/messier day.

Depends on what the two of you are comfortable with.

It has never altered anything we do nor does it bother either of us.  My little one did get the idea that she didn't want to be having her visitor on Valentines Day so she skipped her placebo week to throw her cycle off.   I asked why since it is not sonmething that ever bothered us, and her answer was its Valentines Day.  I can tell you  we (lol  more like I ) paid for it 2 months later.  Everything caught up and she had a terrible period and massive PMS (which was rather strange since her pms is usually easy).  I would frown upon her doing it again because of the effect it had on her later.

Talk to her, see what she is comfortable with and her thoughts on the subject.

I was in my late 20's when I realized there were men out there who it didn't bother. For us, it just means lots of towels and a nice long shower together afterwards. It's very intimate. As long as you are both comfortable there really are no limitations.

Enjoy,

Periods will often stop temporararily if the woman is immersed, so go swimming... then dump the suits and have fun. There is nothing like the motion of the ocean if you are near it... and maybe some Bob Marley playing to make it more beachy?

You have to love a Red Winger.

It appears this is your first time meeting her? I would say, if so, and this hasn't already been done that both of you  should go for testing. Make sure no STDs are present, and than go with the flow and whatever you're comfortable with.

I can only speak for myself, but play during this time eases the pain, and during this time My hormones kick into overdrive and I get quite "playful."
Watch your back, if she's like me, those claws may come out.

I wish you both the best,
Isis

It's funny to me that Master and I are willing to do so many other things in our play and intimate life, but this is one that we don't do.  Personally, it's always been something that makes me kind of squeamish (though I have no rational reason for my feeling that way), and oddly enough, Master just "can't go there" either.  He brought it up to me that He felt it was my body's time to just do its thing and He doesn't want to interrupt its "thing," I suppose.  LOL...  it really is kind of funny, now that I think about it.  We joke that during those days, I have pitched my red tent out in the desert like the women in Biblical times who are "unclean" - just as a joke though, neither of us are being serious about it.  The women in my office think that analogy is funny and we now use the phrase "getting ready to go camping or pitching a tent" to refer to a really PMS-y time.  This past week, there were 3 women getting ready for their monthly "camping trips" at the same time.  The estrogen surge was almost too much to bear.  (LOL)

Seriously though, I think it is whatever level of comfort both people have guides the activities.  Have a very happy and safe time with your potential new sub.

theRose4U....just to add, if she wants to skip a week she HAS to make sure the birth control pills are the kind that are the same level of hormones each week, and not progressively decreasing to the placebo week.  i tried it with the ones with decreasing levels, and just ended up having a mild period anyway and continued spotting for a couple of weeks.  The doc told me they don't work for that (well, obviously).

I'm sort of wondering why the focus here is so heavily focused on the vagina.  There are SO many other forms of play, and other things that can be done, that the temporary unavailability of one small portion of the woman's anatomy shouldn't even be an issue.  Geesh, if all our play were tied to vaginal penetration, I'd die of boredom!

If I were the OP, I'd be breaking out the wax, a nice gag, maybe a hood, a couple hundred clothespins and a crop or two.  But that's just me.

We tend not to have sex when I'm on my period - I'm not really that comfortable with it, I would do it if He wished but He is quite happy with blowjobs at that time. However there are no restrictions on any other play so everything else carries on as normal

Valid point but I did mention the 3 month cycle type.
