More to the point of your post.

If their is a very specific thing you seek. Then a more targetted profile seems a reasonable approach. As long as it is upfront and honest about the terms.

If the alternate profile reflects some aspect of you that you desire to highlight, I see no problem. If the profile is a sham created with the intent of exploiting another to satisfy some whim of your own, I'd call that dishonest and a bad thing.
