So last night I was with someone new and somehow got a load of semen in the mouth

Before anyone lectures me about safety, we are both consenting adults.

But the problem is IMMEDIATELY the inside of my mouth swelled up, mostly in the upper portion of my mouth. It has been over 24 hours and although the swelling has gone down it is still somewhat swollen.

I have no allgeries that I know of.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Please clarify - this never happened before with semen, just with New Guy's spunk?

ALso, there was no lube or anything else involved

maybe he ate something that passed through his system that effected you?

Kind of like moms who breastfeed have to watch what they eat cuz it goes directly to the milk.

It has been known to happen. Sounds like it may be your bodies way of saying this fella's not a chemical fit for you.

Do a web search and you'll come up with tons of info on allergy to semen.

It may be a herpes virus, or even another virus. If you have any, ask your physician for Zelitrex or similar tablets; start treatment immediately. And in future avoid all semen, as well as nuts, licorice, apples (and fruit in general), cauliflower, rice, carrots, thickening additives, and foods made from such ingredients.

Please disregard the above post - there is no way that you would have an immediate viral reaction. There is always an incubation period where the virus is multiplying to a point where your immune system is overwhelmed and you get sick.

and yes, you could be allergic to the proteins in his sperm. But just because you may be allergic to his sperm doesn't mean that you will be allergic to anyone elses. And as always, you need to discuss this incident with your doctor. He is the only one that can really diagnose what happened.

Um...wow. When I told my gyn...over 24 years ago...that I seemed to be allergic to ejaculate, he almost fell off his chair laughing and called bullsh*t on my theory.

Not every (older) guy can wear condoms, and bo's ejaculate burns like Hellfire. I will bookmark this, but I doubt my insurance will pay a dime for these expensive treatments.
