But darling, no matter the thread, I am first, last, and always a sadist.

*help me*

Why do I put myself through this torture? I'm not even a masochist!

Aries, I remember reading about one idiot who was into branding, and thought branding a sub wouldn't be much different than branding cattle on the ranch.

Yer I know,
But it can be done professionally, with good
results.
I haven't seen many good ones, especially
with the branding iron method, they seem to
just make a discusting scar, but I have seen
a small amount that are done very well and
the result is clean looking months and months
later.

I like the idea of the violet wand branding type
of arrangement, but I would personally test it
out as best as I could befor trying it on a
person.

Even though I don't recomend branding, it is
something that piques my interest, probably
from reading almost the entire gor series.
Even though the author had some really naive
ideas about how it would work on a person.

Okay, the when I asked Greedy where my bullwhip and branding iron were, it was a joke! It comes out of a playful thread a few years ago. ALL my branding work was done here, virtually!

Yer I'm on the same page in the jokes
department, my White hot wire cable whip
was a joke as well, and the disclaimer was
for the lurkers not anyone in this thread.

I was just trying to scare Allie with what us
evil peoples can think up, but Cryptics Violet
wand thing is interesting.

LOL! Nasty man scaring our precious Allie like that!

One of the things that keeps me coming back here, is that it allows me to explore parts of my mind I wouldn't normally approach. I came to BDSM late, after I turned forty. Working for many years in the operating room and liver transplant unit as an RN, and then having children, I was always the one in charge.
Part of what draws to submission is the desire to just go of everythin
g. Tired of being the one to make the decisions all the time. Let someone else do it. As I became more comfortable, the virtual play allowed me the opportunity to take back control temporarily, by switching.

In six years, I have only met one Dom face to face from here. He gave me my first taste of the physical. I met him again, one year later. I have not seen him since, although we talk frequently and have become good friends. Will I see him again? Yes. Will I play with him again? I don't know. I have a stable home life I don't want to jeopardize. So my submissiveness is more mental than anything, I guess.

If I had the opportunity, would I switch in real life? Probably not. But as I discussed with Allie last night, I could certainly have fun domming her to get her to submit to a certain unnamed person! Not that there is a hope in hell THAT fantasy will ever come true!

BTW, Cryptic's gift expires in 23 hours......

There's a lot of emotional maturity and
honesty in that post, I put a lot of value
in those qualities, but why the D&M? You
getting tipsy?

Whatever the case, there's nothing wrong
with wanting to give up control, but I'm
sure you already know that.

Nothing wrong with wanting to Cyber
Domme Allie either, she so needs a spanking
after saying Monty Python isn't funny...
For someone who is apparently not Maso,
she (coincidentally?) happens to appear in
threads populated by cyberpaddle wheilding
Dommes quite often...

Urmm what is this gift already!

Sorry about the typos Aries. Working on a touch screen keyboard is something I am still adjusting to, and my last post was made after midnight. It would be nice if I could blame it on getting tipsy, but I rarely drink anymore. I was a notorious drinker in nursinf school, especially when the engineers were around, lol. But as the daughter of an alcoholic, I made a decision a number of years ago that I absolutely would not end up like her. Doesn't mean I don't let loose, but that only happens one or two times a year now.

Well, to get technical, she only said that the cheese shop wasn't funny, and come on, not everybody gets "Brit humor"! She liked the next post, to "How to irritate people".

As for the gift, only sixteen more hours!

I'm going to do my best Sally Field impression...

"I can't deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me!"

(quoted in it's true form..instead of You like me! You really like me! Let's face it... you could.. *not* like me tomorrow...but let's hope not!)

I do feel that at any time for the smallest slight then a thread or post can be removed and I know it makes me less motivated to participate on the forum as I am thinking why should I use allot of time to make a post, argue my point and contribute if it can be removed if a mod just do not like the thread or if one of the other posters do something wrong.

Oh heavens, if we did that, I would personally obliterate probably 95% of the Politics & Religion Forum. But Alpha won't let me. Now THERE is a big meanie pants!
