Greetings

I dislike the term God/Goddess for Dominants and I would never use it, I am deeply religious and I reserve those words for actual Deities. A Dominant might get my loyalty, submission and adoration, but I will never worship them, I worship the Gods not human beings. Note, when I say dislike I mean I dislike it personally, if other uses the terms in their relationships that is totally fine with me, whatever floats their boat.

I wish you well

The only title that anyone's ever given me that got a better reaction than "Meh, whatever" was Boss. I call people all sorts of pet names, but I usually try to come up with something unique for my partners. The boy who called me Boss was Beanie another partner I called my little goblin.

My subs refer to me as my Lady. I dislike goddess, domme, mistress. I don't feel I am any of those things.

"Mistress" is a no for me, because I can STILL hear Hugh's voice when someone calls me that. "Mistress Francine" is fine for when I am with other leatherfolk but not for a general term. I used to call Bill "sweetheart". I haven't called anyone else that since. Totally avoid the word.
Pretty much bouncing off of this.

When I first got clip, it was very specifically m'lady. Mistress with no qualifying name after it didn't come until he was collared. I get Mistress Pact or Mistress <insert real name here> in certain social circles. Ma'am only tends to come out under the right conditions so it never bothers Me. Goddess will get somebody an eye roll.

Master doesn't really care what I cal him as long as I'm respectful. I usually call him Master or Sir. As for what he calls me, it's usually mouse or the lilone and at times when he's in the mood, it's slut, cunt, toy, it, etc....

To everyone else I'm just my name or Ma'am. I really don't care though what anyone calls me, as long as it's not the shortened version of my first name. That is reserved for my family and my best friends who I grew up with since a kid. The only time anyone uses the short form is when I go home to visit and being a small town, everyone knows everyone so it's extremely casual.

I'm still trying to rap my head around though of how "Mister" is dirty or foul. I don't think Master would care much if I called him Mister but I'm just comfortable with Maser or Sir. I call lots of men Mister and no one seems to mind.

ResidentSadist -> RE: The Dirtiest Title Ever (9/1/2012 12:40:54 PM)

I think "mon papa" was the dirtiest title I have ever donned. She was teen, I was 30. She only said it at just the right moments.

There is a submissive adult woman, who is very important to me, whose personality puts her as a curious precocious teenager. We have been friend with kinky benefits and support for years. She calls me "Mister." It's respectful, but not cumbersome considering I do not own her or collar her. But it sounds like "master," which is a nod to our lasting relationship. And my favorite: It's filthy. It's the most vulgar title in the most subtle way. "Mister" is the term we use for strangers. Mister can be anyone, totally replaceable by the next guy on the train. And the things Mister does...

So my question is this: What title, if you prefer one, do you like and why?
For those whose "titles" take the form of pet names: What nickname always puts a smile on your face or a wet spot in your pants, and why?

Can't go there due to the way you described it.

I call Him Daddy, Sir or Mr. He calls me Mommy, mine, or slut.

Depends on what we are doing, who else is around us etc.
