ORIGINAL: kdsub Did you watch the 60 minutes story...If you did you would know that most of the profits from this book are going to military support charities. I found the interview and story completely non-political and even though I don’t think he should have published his book without the proper authority I am glad he did it. He says, don’t know if it is true, that the other seals in the operation are not upset with him releasing his story. He further says he is not giving away secret tactics, equipment, and names just his story as he saw it. Although his story differs from the official accounts it is not so different as to imply cover-ups in any way. It is just a point of view by a participant who may not be privy to all the information and strategy available. Personally I am proud of this man and his courage along with his cohorts on this difficult mission. To me the most telling information he released was that this was NOT a kill mission even if it did turn out that way. This revelation is a relief and affirms my belief in that the basic notion of justice, as apposed to retribution, is paramount in our leaders and armed forces. Butch Don't know if this guy's story is true or not, but the thing I found hilarious was....60 minutes statement "we have kept this mans name secret to protect his anonymity"....and then proceeded to show his face, full body, everything, in full Technicolor
