I guess that must be different huh

What fear have you been force fed about abortion, contraception and the ACA over the past 18 months?

LMAO wether you are talking about me personally, or generally as a female, I'll treat your question with the respect it deserves

What the fuck kind of Republican can't even get southern whites to vote for him?[8|]

Yay you found a woman who doesn't like Romney... We'll see in November who southern white voters voted for.

JstAnotherSub -> RE: The thrill is gone (9/11/2012 2:05:15 PM)

I've not been subject to force fed ignorance (and fear) by the Right over anything.
That sound terrible! The "Right" ties you down and makes you eat ignorance over abortion, contraception and the (what?) because they ... hey, I never could ever figure out why I, on the Right, would get off feeding anyone ignorance, why?

Does it make me money? NO.
Does it make me better than you? NO.
Does it give me the jollys? NO.

Does it save little baby girls and boys with blue eyes and blond hair or not from being chopped up like dog food and sucked out of a womb by an impersonal "family planning" doctor and even harvested like some vegetable for it's cells in regrowing degenerate nerves in someone born before harvesting was legal? Yes.

Does it keep a woman who does not know how to use an asprin from buying contraceptives on other women's tax or insurance premium dollar while they love and struggle to pay both and raise their children? Yes.

Should a woman keep an asprin between her legs or buy her own condoms? Yes.

So, who is force feeding ignorance here?

Lucylastic -> RE: The thrill is gone (9/11/2012 2:31:45 PM)

And yet another reason to snort derisively
thanks chaps!!

So, you're telling me that the only way to not get pregnant while still having sex is through insurance-provided contraception?!?!?

Nope, I am saying that insurance companies are black listing birth control because its not labeled as anything BUT birth control

Take a look.. google it yourself.

Viagra has different names depending on its use.

Find different ones for the different uses for birth control. You wont.

You do realize that is but one attempt... and that the GOP platform is to overturn Roe...

Why, yes, I do believe, honestly, that there isn't an attack on women coming from the right.

So, you're saying that because one of Romney's goals is to overturn Roe, that if he gets elected, it's going to be overturned?!? Have you not been paying attention to government the last half decade? Just because a President wants something doesn't mean he'll get it done. Look at Obama. He wanted Cap and Trade. He wanted to close Guantanamo. He wanted to get rid of Bush's double secret spy programs. He wanted Single payer.. no he didn't... yes he did. And, while the bill is passed, it doesn't take effect until 2014, so he may not even have gotten that done. Remember the "get lobbyists out of Washington" bullshit?

Not at all, though. You're all worked up because Romney and the Party of R wants to overturn Roe in defense of the unborn. Those Bastards (think South Park)!!

So does the federal govt. Regardless of who gets in.

Now...stop voting based on assumptions and start listening to the speakers....more importantly, their records of actual achievement.

If that tells you to vote for Obama....do so....if that tells you to vote for Romney....do so.

That sounded just like a "there there dear, you must be on the rag " platitude. There are tooo many bills passed for it to be a simple assumption, maybe when the bills are produced for those top three ..people should start worrying.

Will people stop worrying about what communism, Obama is going to bring, .........Tell them to Stop voting based on assumptions
Will people stop worrying about what gun laws, Obama is going to bring, ...............Tell them to Stop voting based on assumptions.
Will people stop worrying about Obama bringing Sharia law into the country, ............Tell them to Stop voting based on assumptions.
Then talk about assumptions

FR:

Ok, Rich, I'll bite ...

I'm not sure what the popular vote will be, exactly, but I'm pretty certain that Romney is going to win this easily, perhaps up to a Reagan landslide proportions.

Truthfully, I'm more concerned about the Senate, than the Presidency.

And, in a way (the long historical point of view way), I can't say that I'm too worried even if Obama does get re-elected.

One of the questions I asked several times here, at about the year mark of Obama's Presidency was "When does he own it?". All I got from the statist echo chamber here on CM was verbal diarrhea and deflection.

Well, here it is almost four years later, and it's still Booosh's fault ... give the poor prez another term ...

Obama has done a lot to mobilize "conservatives" and to dis-enchant independents in his first term. He has certainly lowered the creditability of "liberalism" even among "liberals" (although they lay the blame on Obama, and not the world view that they share with him).

We are a strong country, and I think we can stand another four years of him. Oh, sure, there would be a lot of misery, but it might just take that to inoculate the next generation against "liberalism's" bankrupt structure. He may get to nominate another Supreme, but I suspect that he'll have a very hard time, because even if he is elected, the Congress will be either be fully in control of the R's, or they will have nominative control.

Heck, we may even get QE3 here soon, and be plunged into an inflationary recession (obviously Booosh's fault, as well), but then the public service unions will be pitted directly against every taxpayer, and eventually lead to the severing and extinction of the PS unions funding of captive Democrats who give them almost anything they want from the public coffers.

Almost no matter how you look at it, Obama has been good for the long-term welfare of the nation, simply by being himself, and "liberal" to such an extent that he will inevitably lead to the discrediting of the statist liberal view, and the activation of formerly quiescent citizens who oppose him.

Worst case, the divisions in American society that he has/is causing will finally cause a rupture in which the "Will of the people" must once again be re-affirmed in blood and treasure. Not a good outcome, in the short-term, but perhaps required in order to clear the future of zombie philosophies and beliefs, so that the American dream can be revitilized and reawakened.

Firm
