I had my hood pierced about 13 years ago. I really loved it; it heightened the sensations during sex and made celibacy much more interesting and satisfying. However, about two years after I had it pierced, I met a man that I thought I was going to marry. We were together in a two year vanilla relationship (I had yet to be fully awakened. I knew that I wanted him to tie me up and spank me, two things that he flat-out refused to do, but had yet to discover the extent of my submissiveness.) Anyway, he wanted me to remove the piercing and to please him, I did. Now I want to have the piercing redone. My question is this: How long does it take for a hood piercing to heal? I do not recall from my past experience. Even if I did however, the circumstances are a litlle different now. At the time that I had the first piercing done I was celibate. Now I am in a relationship with a Master who is a little aggressive (thank you sweet Jesus!) and more than just a bit rough at times.[:D] I do not wish to lose too much precious playtime. I was hoping that some of the ladies (or their partners) who have had this done could help me out. I am really jonesing for that piercing, but I do not wish to deprive Master of the use of His favorite toy...me!

Mine only took a week to heal...........but you DO have to be VERY carefull. AND like always..........DO use protection if you ARE gonna try anything, it is an open wound.................. I also have a fourchette piercing.............I hear many woment dont have that one......................I want to know if any one else out there Has a fourchette piercing Too!!!! :) LOVE MINE!!!

i was told to avoid oral sex for 8 weeks when i got mine done. We had sex as soon as it stopped hurting (i think about a week) but kept it from getting anything on it (using condoms, etc) for that time period.

I had a vertical hood piercing, and though they tell you it is 2-6 weeks to heal, it can be much quicker. I took very good care duing healing, including using Provon antibacterial soap and saline soaks. Within a week, it was completely healed. You should always practice safe sex, and never more so than when the piercing is new. We had sex within hours of the piercing. Probably not adviseable (though we had NO problems, just a little sore afterward,) but certainly do-able. I HIGHLY recommend getting re-pierced. I took mine out for a time and it did grow back (rather quickly), but re-pierced a little higher, and with a larger gauge than the first time (12 this time), and am very happy with it. Am considering a fourchette and possibly a triangle soon. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

My slave took 2 weeks to heal. I made sure that (much to my slave's chagrin) the area was not disturbed at all during that time. She has not had any problems with it in any way, and if anything sensation seems to be even higher.

I got mine done..........and it is so damn awesome, anyway the guy who pierced me told me a month for oral.........1-2 weeks for sex....i waited 4 days and couldnt take it anymore.....had sex and DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN lol anyway I healed really quickly but I just wouldnt let him go pulling on it for alittle while, takes some time to toughen it up.

Thank you SMB for the real life healing time. I know that I will not be able to wait a week and neither will Master. I am sure I can keep Him from pulling on it for a week or two, but He will want to be doing some heavy duty punding in that area within 3-4 days time. I will just plan on using a ball gag! LOL!

I had mine done a few years ago. The guy who pierced it said no oral for 6 weeks, and no sex without a condom (no spemicide on the condom either, it is an irritant). Water based lube is ok. Could not hold off on the oral, Master went down there a few days after I had it done, but He cleaned it very well afterwards with peroxide. It took about 2 weeks to heal up nicely, and I have had not one problem with it. I love it, it's the best piercing I have, and Master has a boat load of fun with it too!! liz

I have performed very many hood piercings over the years, and all the advice I have read so far holds true. It is best to keep the piercing clean for at least two weeks. Individuals differ, but the two week rule should be the minimum before you indulge in any physical contact. Good luck. UkDoctor

I had mine done about 3 years ago and it healed really quickly, likewise my inner labia which are coming up to 2 years, although one side still hurts a little bit if pulled too sharply. All three pierings are with ball closure rings. I think Master has been eyeing up some other piercings that he would like me to get but i would rather not have too much metal down there!

i had mine done exactly one week ago today and i dare say it is healed. i was told it would take about two-three weeks to heal completly, but that after one week oral sex would be okay. It hurt much less than expected. Both of my nipples were done at the same time and they were much more painful and are still very sore, however my clit did not hurt at all afterwards and was only sore to the touch for maybe the first day. Good luck either way:-)

along the lines of genital piercing, did a clitorial piercing enhance your feelings? Is there any daily sensations either positive or negative? Would you do it again? did you remove it? All information appreicated, thanks

How do you know which type piercing will be 'more fun', vertical or horizontal?

I did ALOT of research before i did it and I was told by my piercer if you are looking for it too just look pretty the go horizontal, if you want the sexual aspects go for vertical, the bottom ball hits it just the right way, horizontal can also hit it the right way if planned right but the vertical is lined up along the way a womans body is shaped, also if you feel that a vertical would be too much pressure for you to handle in everyday life (also something my piercer explained too me) you can go for a curved shape barbell (think belly button banana shaped) or smaller balls, I have a straight 3/8 of an inch 10g in my piercing and occassionally use bigger balls (hmmm that sounds interesting lol) HTH
