For some odd reason i've always like that song barbie Girl, by Aqua. I just downloaded it and i'm listening to it.........

Anyone ever think that it could have a BDSM theme to it?

I could post the lyrics...

Yes i know its not ALL that close.. BUT it makes me think and it twas a momentary..... brain storm

I have never really thought it was BDSM themed and when I looked up the lyrics to find out what I was missing, I still am having a hard time making the connection. It's a fun song, but that is all I hear. Of course the next time I hear it, I will think of this thread, so yes, now it DOES have a BDSM connection for me.

that was the first thing that poped into my mind was some sort of bdsm aspect or she was a prostitute but then again i have my own theries on many things some to odd to post

Anything can have a BDSM theme to it with enough imagination. BTW, I was watching a show of the top 50 (or 100, I forget) worse songs in the last decade and Barbie Girl made the list! You won't get any arguments from me!

never thought of it that way.....the song that really reminds me of bdsm, and i think it actually was meant that way is "Sweet Dreams" by Eurythmics....:: some of them want to use you, some of them want to be used by you, some of them want to abuse you, some of them want to be abused::....

The song Candyman (also by Aqua) has even more BDSM undertones to it. Listen to it and you will see what I mean
