Not even believable. Obama's young. When he leaves office, in 2013 or 2017, be's not going go away. He'll make speeches, endorse candidates, maybe write another book. And he has lives in Chicago snd DC and nothing in Hawaii.

Obama odds of winning are currently about 65%, Obamabots need not to worry. Forget the Gallup, they have been historically proven unreliable predicting elections. Money interest is more likely to get it correct:

Sorry, my post is a little incomplete. Romney betting shares are around $10.
Actually financial markets bet Obama a roughly 70% chance of winning.

"Obama; hey, Senator Smith I can endorse you if it'll help out!"
Senator Smith;...."nNOOOOOOOOOO Mr. President!" "You have WAY too busy of a schedule!!!
"Don't worry about ME!" "I'll do just fine!
"REALLY!"

If Obama loses he loses. He still collects his presidential salary for the rest of his life, and we have 4 (or more) years of Romney to contend with. My guess is people will complain about Romney's policies as much as they did Obama's...and Bush's...and Clintons...and so on.

If I were really against my own country, I would wish, if Romney wins, when its time to vote the new Congress in they be as malicious and spiteful and damaging to all Americans for the cause of ruining the rep of one man and one man alone.

He's not going to lose. Every DAY the R's are saying or doing something more stupid than they did the day before. Now Romney is enjoying the taste of his feet. He cant seem to go a day without him or his party apologizing for what was said or done the day before. Those people are their own worst enemy. Everytime they try to dog on the D's, they make the D's sound better and better.

I'm not a big fan of either or - but Romney is a scary man. - and here's whats pretty sad, I WAS republican leaned (Im actually an Independent) until the tea-party/GOP started really getting stupid and started pressing their religious views into what they want to accomplish. It seems all they want to do is to make jack asses of themselves on a daily basis.

If he wins in 6 weeks, he has an investment that he can hold onto and then when he sells, his cap gains will be at the lower "Long term cap gains" rate.

Not if the dems have their way. Cap gains is one of their favorite "cash cows" and, obviously, it's a way to bring down the evil people that either worked hard, invested smartly, or innovated/exploited a market need.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

You forget. For vacation homes, as long as you only designate 1 and spend x number of days/year there, cap gains tax = 0
Clinton saw to that.

It certainly would be nice to see the left remember the sorts of things they used to claim to care about...

Really. How come they don't raise them then?

Try again. Use reality this time.

The words "thought" and "think" are used very loosely in the above

He can move to wherever he wants. That's the thing. We live in a free country. Once Obama is out of office, there is nothing that says he has to live in the US.
