I am SO not expressing myself clearly these days...

There is no accepted internet group protocol, so the people who are not speaking to him are all responding for their own reasons. What WE are all agreeing on is collared = off the market. Even in the world of velcro collars that's standard practice.

Whew! Can't wait for the weather change to be over!

Come up here. That weather change has already happened. [8D]

It's hard to say what folks will do on the internet. It could be protocol. It could be because they think a collar to someone you've never seen in the same room is the epitome of being ridiculous. Who knows?

Sometimes, when all you are is someone's acquaintance, rather than a long tern friendship, it's better to just walk away.

Sometimes realtime people evaporate, who can say with the ones we type with now and then...

LadyPact -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 6:49:23 PM)

I've seen both happen, so I can't judge.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 6:50:19 PM)

Me too, all I can do is shrug and hope for the best.

Bill41 -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 7:13:58 PM)

Did not think my OP had legs but here is what i need to clarify. i found out i was wrong i am not collared. i imagined it i assume. However my online Domme does consider me her property and does not want me to see other Dommes. i have no problem with this because we spent almost two months talking on the phone every 3 days getting to know each other. We wish we lived closer but that is not our fate. i know what everyone is thinking and i'm sure i'm blind but things are really good for now. Most will consider this just play time but i don't care. i'm still new to this but if i'm learning and having fun do you really see any harm? This will be my last post on this topic. Next looking for a good chastity devise i hate the CB stuff want some metal.

Thanks for the input btw it was fantastic

Bill41 -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 7:25:34 PM)

hello everyone i did not realize my OP had legs

i was wrong. i am not collared. my mistress told me that i am simply Her property and that i am to treat all Dommes with professional kindness but let them know that i am off limits if they approach me.
I am still new at this sorry but this is my last post on this topic. I did not explain it as well as she did to me so forgive my ignorance.

Thank You all for your words

tsatske -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 7:33:13 PM)

bill,
if you do not continue to talk to people on the boards, how will you learn things? The forums here are really pretty great, a nice place to chat, friendly people...

Could you explain how you are 'hers' but not 'collared'? Is it kind of like - you are hers but she is not yours? just currious

LadyHibiscus -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 7:33:26 PM)

I'm not sure of the intrinsic difference between owned and collared, but whatevs. Have fun.

For shiny metal beauty, google "Mr S Leather". There's other good sources, and certainly cheaper, but it's a good starting point.

Alecta -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 8:10:44 PM)

Hib, you should get some sort of referral points from S Leather lol

OP, I'm glad it is going well for you. As tsatske said, how would you learn if not for asking?
In regards to the difference between being someone's property and being collared, I suppose it could be inferred as the difference between "going steady" and "being married" in this context? Unfortunately, not being the lady in question, we cannot tell you for sure.

In regards to male chastity devices, run a search on the forum. I believe we've had several excellent discussions and product reviews in the past year that would be helpful.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 8:18:35 PM)

I've never bought a thing from S, Alecta!! But for window shopping, they are divine! I tend to buy things from their makers, if possible.

Alecta -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 8:25:52 PM)

I meant that they should give you store credit for all the people you keep sending their direction, Hib

LadyHibiscus -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 8:29:48 PM)

Oh I know what you meant! I never figure anyone actually affords that stuff but deep pocketed leathermen!

Alecta -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 8:37:01 PM)

actually I thought some of their catalogue looks pretty reasonably priced. I guess I'm used to inflated Canadian prices.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 8:38:33 PM)

Canadian prices are terrifying.

Alecta -> RE: what's the problem (10/2/2012 9:13:55 PM)

I think they take advantage cos people are too embarrassed to argue about the inflated prices of toys or something.
