I was on my way to south carolina to meet someone off the internet, half way their my alternator goes out on the interstate. I was able to get off the interstate to a gas station, but there were no mechanic shops nearby. I walked two miles to an Auto Parts store. I bought a new alternator and they were nice enough to loan me tools to repair the car, but I still wasnt able to find a ride back, so I had to walk the two miles back to repair the car. Once the alternator was replaced, I had to stand around and wait for someone to jump start the battery. Then drove back to auto parts store to give them back their tools and turn in the old alternator to get refund on core charge.
Got back on interstate heading towards south carolina. Got a flat tire around state line. Got out and changed tire, luckily I keep a full sized spare, not the silly donut. Why is it always raining when your tire goes flat??
Get off the interstate at correct exit, now driving on small two laned back road in the rain. Swerve to miss deer. Land in ditch. Cry. Some nice redneck with large truck comes by and pulls me out of ditch. Finally make it to destination. Person off internet is total idiot. Go and get hotel room. Get sloshed. Wake up with hang over and drive home to Florida the next morning.
soooooooooo.....pbm, have you ever admitted to being a total idiot just to make someone else happy?
