Dubai Airport, United Arab Emirates.

I was the only woman there who was not covered and was much thinner, hair to my waist, and a little more revealing clothing than I would have worn had we not been diverted there.  Some Kuwaiti men saw me with my suitcases (while my then husband was getting money exchanged), and put cash on my bags - thinking I was a prostitute.  UGH!  The great, white whore lands in the Arab countryside, I suppose.  It was terribly frightening and my hubby almost punched a guy in the mouth for getting too close to me.  It wasn't exactly the layover I was expecting.

sooooo....... pbm, how many languages do you speak?

2-ish Ma'am speaks 6 or 7 and does the talking unless we are in a country where that isn't socially acceptable. In those cases I get a crash course of what to do/say.

Sooo PBM what language do you wish you spoke fluently?

very much so. i grew up in VERY jewish household, at least where food was concerned . some traditional hebrew dishes include: challah, cholent, bagels, tzimmes, blintzes, kugel, knish, gefilte fish, falafel, macaroons, charoset, latkes, sufganiot, brisket, kniedalach, hamantashen, matzah, lekach, mandelbread, rugelach...the list goes on lol (and this is mostly ashkenazi fair!)

i started cooking and baking at a very young age; basically as soon as i was old enough to hold and/or use a spoon. and while jewish food is my first love, i do enjoy experimenting with other types of cuisine. some of my favorites have to be indian, thai, mexican, mediterranean, and japanese foods...

so, pbm, what was the best prank you ever played on someone?

Like is a bit of an understatement I LOVE books of all kinds anything that can suck me in and hold my attention causing me this dire need to devour it in it's entirety..... I enjoy romance, mystery, action type books, erotica (as long as it is well written and I still tend to catch many errors) I love the books that can take me to each end of the emotional spectrum and everywhere in between.............

Sooooooooooooooo, pbm, what is your favorite past time and why?

Photography because there is so much variation in what you can do. Also you can spend all day taking pictures and not like any of them or just thirty minutes and take one you are really pleased with. It is pure chance what you end up with sometimes and I love that uncertainty. You can’t take a picture and know you are going to get the exact same results again.

Soooo person beneath me when you was younger what did you want to do for a living and did you end up doing it?

LOL well here is my insane plan from when I was 12: I was going to go to college to be a Dr and then open my own practice, once up and running I was going to also return to school to become a Lawyer once I had passed my board exams I was then going to start from the bottom there and open my own practice in law. Once it was established I had every intention of doing both, I was never going to marry and I was either going to be artificially inseminated or I was going to adopt....... Did I end up doing any of this? Hmmmm Nope not by a long shot and I must say that I have no intention of following through with any of it unless I simply do not find someone to be happy with in which case I will still have children so I will take one option or the other in order to achieve that......... Okay so anyhow that was the master plan of 12 year old me.....

Soooooooooooooooooo, pbm,  who did you look up to as you were growing up?

To lose some weight,
To be less judgemental,
To love more.

Dear PBM:
How do you say I love you when you don't say I love you?
