Oho a difficult one topaz i'm going to cheat a little by saying it's a toss up between a Goshawk, a spermwhale and a platypus. Heads the bird tails the whale and on the freak chance the coin lands on it's edge the platypus.
On that note person below me what's the highest you've ever been?
Edited to add that aeroplane travel does not count i am afraid.

It was! Even though being by myself, I had a great time chilling outside and drinking malt whiskey.

PBM, are you satisfied with your financial earnings?

i'm retired.  i'm doing ok, but it would be nice to have more.  A shared living arrangement would help.

sooooooooooo ... pbm ... Are you keeping your résumé up to date?

Not to a wax museum as such fluffy pet i've been to Madame tussaurds though [I have probably mangled her poor name.] and that was worth a look.
So person below me is there one decision in your life, a crossroads of sorts, where if you had the chance you would have chosen differently?

The first novel in a trilogy that i of which i already read the second novel.  It's about a family from 1888 through the end of WW II.  Since i enjoy reading about the 1920's i'll be interested to read how this author portrays that decade in the story.  The Evidence Against Her by  Robb Forman Dew.

sooooooo ... pbm ... do you like to read novels set in a specific period of history?

No, I'm fairly era-agnostic.

Sooooooooooo, pbm, what's the best movie you've seen lately?

I wouldn't mind being Mildred Lathbury in Barbara Pym's Excellent Women. She's smart, she's funny, and she gets the guy.
