I'm absolutely the last person to ask about that....I admire you for attempting that.

ghitaPVH -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/15/2010 7:14:45 PM)

No..whats the point of taking a perfectly safe and healthy drink and making it either A) full of empty calories or B) zero calorie but full of awful chemicals?

Soooooooooooooooooooooo......PBM, what time do you have to be awake in the morning and should you be sleeping now?

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/15/2010 7:16:29 PM)

Tomorrow, I have a Reiki Class, so I don't need to get up until around 8:30 A.M.  Okay for me to be up now.

sooooo.......pbm.........what is your favorite movie?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/16/2010 10:13:46 AM)

It varies - Out of Africa is a good one.

sooooooooo ... pbm ... have you seen a movie in the theater recently?

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/17/2010 3:56:29 PM)

Yes, I saw Iron Man 2 last week at the theater.

soooo......pbm........what is your favorite book?

shivermetimbers -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/21/2010 12:29:05 AM)

I guess you have to say your favorite is the one you've read the most....so it's a tie between Dracula, The World According to Garp, and The Stand.

Sooooooo PBM, what is odder.....reading the same book more than once, or seeing the same movie more than once?

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/21/2010 10:10:59 AM)

It's a toss-up.

sooooooooooooo ... pbm ... what movie should i go to in the theater next week?

dreamofthemoon -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/21/2010 1:07:30 PM)

Hmm, if you're in the mood for eye candy, there's Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man 2, or Russel Crowe in Robin Hood.  Though i think How to Train Your Dragon looks cute, and Letters to Juliette does, too.

Soooo... pbm, where do you get your news from? (ie, radio, newspapers, tv, etc.,)

fluffypet61 -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/21/2010 3:01:32 PM)

Radio and newspaper...occasionally internet.

sooooooooo ... pbm ... Do you ever listen to the BBC World Service on Public Radio?

CarrieO -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/22/2010 2:48:17 AM)

Almost every morning while driving to work.

Sooooo....pbm, have you ever bought a copy of The New Yorker just for the comics?

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/22/2010 10:54:26 AM)

No, I don't believe I've ever bought a copy of the New Yorker.

ghitaPVH -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/22/2010 8:14:07 PM)

no, but my grandfather gets one delivered to his house right next door...so we go read his if we want to..

sooooooooo...........tpbm, have you ever been in the newspaper or a magazine?

shivermetimbers -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/22/2010 9:41:00 PM)

Yes, not counting military base papers, I was in a Greensboro paper for opening day of the newly named Bats at the time (they were the Hornets)  FYI, Yankee fans know Derek Jeter played there, and he was great to watch back then even.

Soooooooo  PBM, do you personally know anyone who fought in D-Day in WWII?

tropicalhoney -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/23/2010 5:18:51 AM)

No, but my father shipped over within a week with the first hospital into liberated Europe.

Sooo..............pbm.........do you like movies about WWII?

subwaythru -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/23/2010 6:02:50 AM)

I do like movies about WWII, most particularly those which deal with the effect of the war on those on the Home Front. "Mrs. Miniver" and "Since You Went Away" are two excellent examples. The return of the soldiers and their readjustment to civilian life, and the effect it had on their families, is of interest to me as well. "The Best Years of Our Lives" is the grandest epic I can think of. Oh, I also love "Three Came Home", which looked at the true story of a woman who was prisoner of war of the Japanese during WWII.

Soooooo person beneath me, do you have any favorite WWII movies?

tropicalhoney -> RE: soooooooooo....person beneath me... (5/23/2010 6:58:22 AM)

Casablanca

Sooooooooooo.....pbm.....do you like black and white movies?
