Two-seater, mid-engined sports cars. Of those, my alltime favorite is the now-discontinued McLaren F1. Of all the ones I could actually expect to own someday, my favorite is the Toyota MR2 MkII. I had a MkII for a few years, and it was really a blast.

Yay for Lexus!

I wear camo pants, a t-shirt, and a long sleeved overshirt to work. And a hat. And lots of sunblock!

Soooooooooooo, PBM, do you prefer a particular brand of motorcycle? If so, why?

I'm partial to the ones made by Rick Hoffman and Logic Motors, mainly because I've met Rick and like his work.

It's a tossup between Alexander and Troy. You'd think with today's technology and huge budgets, someone could make a halfway decent toga movie, wouldn't you?

Sooooooooooo, PBM, great sunset here tonight. How was yours?

Ain't Vegas grand? It's 100+ at night, but we crank the AC and sleep with blankets!

The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkel. It reminds me of me...and of someone else, too. And good times...and bad ones.

Soooooooooooo, PBM, do you have a favorite disco tune?

Yes (fulfilled it), but no (a lady never tells).

BTW, love your profile - a cat-loving anti-Republican!  And The Boxer is one of my favorite songs ...

Soooooo... pbm - do you have a favorite mental puzzle - something you try to wrap your mind around, but never *quite* manage to bring it home?

Yes, I do. Several, in fact. In the realm of the purely brainteasing stuff, I try to imagine how things must look and behave in more than 3 dimensions. Reading Flatland and Shereland only help a little. In the more reality-based realms, there are all kinds of puzzles about human motivations, drives, desires, meanings and/or lacks of meanings that really baffle me. Better if I stick with the more abstract, I think.

Soooooooooo, pbm, do you prefer to separate cerebral from physical, or do you tend to see them as one thing? Or something else I haven't thought to mention?

Depends on the situation - often they are combined, hence (for example) the eroticism of pain - giving or receiving.  Without the cerebral element, a flogging is no better than stubbing your toe.  But sometimes, pure primal physical response is liberating, and other times, turning inside your own head can bring peace and release that no outside force can provide.

Soooooo, pbm - are you prone to nostalgia?

Very much so. It is something I must be careful with, lest I do things that are not good for me. I am still learning how to consistently enjoy good memories. Sometimes pain slips in, but I am getting better at dealing with it. You'd think I'd have it figured out by now, eh?

Sooooooooo, pbm, does the future look bright?
