The liberator ( and is associated mini-wedges) are big foam wedges for use dugin sex. Some options include attachable cuffs for fun time play.

Are these too vanilla for 'real' bondage? Do they work? Has anyone tried them?

yes, a dom friend has them and he loves them... it puts the body parts he wishes to play with at an elevated heights above the rest. also good for spankings and from my end was soft and not uncomfy at all. the attached cuffs were cute and did work. all in all, a good toy if something you would use quite a bit. only being face down over it with the rump up and cuffed does stuff your face in the mattress at an odd angle.
