" Stop! Acts 2:38!!!"
An elderly woman had just returned to her home from an evening of Church services when she was startled by an intruder. She caught the man in the actof robbing her home of its valuables and yelled," Stop! Acts 2:38!"
(Repent and be baptized, in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may beforgiven.)
The burglar stopped in his tracks. The woman calmly called the police and explainedwhat she had done. As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he askedthe burglar, "Why did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell ascripture to you."
"Scripture?" replied the burglar. "She said she had an Ax and Two 38's!"

A customer walks into a restaurant and notices a large sign on the wall: $500 If we fail to fill your order!
When his waitress arrives, he orders elephant nuts on rye. She calmly writes down his order & walks into the kitchen where all hell breaks loose!
The restaurant owner comes storming out of the kitchen.
He runs up to the customer's table, slaps five $100 bills down on it and says, "You got me this time buddy, but I want you to know that's the first time in ten years we've been out of rye bread!"
