Apparently some here missed out on the "take our country back" sloganeering so prevalent in the earlier days of the recent administration, generated from the Northern an Western regions of the country, I might add. No question to the thinking person as to exactly what that meant. So now it has deteriorated to "bitchslapping," such progression thus of which the mods apparently highly approve and cheer, and certainly defend most quickly and vigorously against those bringing such contra-decorum and just plain incivility in every regard to this forum's attention.

Naw fargle. I think it is just a desparate attempt to find a way to think their side has an answer for what Obama has laid out in the campaign. They can't fucking believe that they are sitting here again with a shitty candidate. Winds of change are blowing hard in the Republican party......They've spent a whole lotta money to basically end up losing ground again.....It ain't going to be pretty.

Any Democrat can be morphed into the best fundraiser they have. Lets be honest, it is the same for us as well. Obama especially isn't innocent in this whole "money" game. He calculated last time that he didn't want to use Gov't money cause he was raking in so much from the outside.....He can cry about outside money but he didn't do anything to stop it.

Agree or disagree ... People are missing the point that it's not the statement itself, but rather some attribution to the person making such a statement. The hysteria went from "taking our country back!" to asking for a birth certificate and calling him a Kenyan (which they thought they could slide past us and think that people would be fooled into getting on the racial bandwagon with out our conscious knowledge {oh! they almost had us on that one!}, as we were expected to accept 'Kenyan' as a legitimate term of disparagement. They'll try anything, won't they? Finally giving up on that, (except for an off-meds few), we now come to the pres. being "bitchslapped." No, I don't agree fully with the OP, but anyone ignoring the racial aspect motivation by some of this jihad against the president is in denial. But I do find it hilarious, whether racially motivated or not, that incoherent babbling from off-meds nut cases is considered as a "bitchslapping," in any case. How weak, how impotent, how low an expression of powerlessness of these barkers, and those who are so low in life as to take these losers' words as their gospel. Sucks to be them, all I can say.

But, to your post, it's apparently not about the terminology necessarily, as much as it is who is using the terminology.
