LOL, yeah, being on this site has had a surprisingly nasty effect on my attitude towards people in general, but this is not the forum for that (we can start a complain about the wankers thread sometime and I'll copy the funnier parts of the six hundred emails I got in my 1st 48 hrs here... there's one about a donut and a sea cow, and I think I have something like forty pages of just swearing, or things that begin with swearing and contain a lot of it anyway). I wouldn't be here if it weren't for some of the funnier threads and a couple IRL friends it's easier to catch here. I don't find much of what I was looking for here, but there are some diamonds in the dirt.
Of course demanding is a matter of perspective, why would I want less than what actually makes me happy when I know I have more to offer in return than most people expect? I make zero apologies for who I am or what I want and I do expect an even trade as far as relationships go.
We can sit and drink my favorite eighteen year old scotch and you can tell me all about what I'm doing wrong with my life. Somehow, I don't think being agro on this site, and with fairly good reason overall, is going to really effect any part of my life... though it does occasionally make me a like minded friend, and I've got some absolutely hysterical hate mail.
Do you really care if someone as 'demanding' as I am, spends her downtime being bored in low tech nowhere-ville and shopping for the ever elusive perfect match between business projects?
Everyone is an asshole from someone's perspective... you seem like a nice enough person, and we don't need to agree or like what the other says, that's the beauty of the internet. For my part, those 'demands,' honey those are the bare minimum I expect in a partner. I'm not for everyone. I'd rather please the right one for me than try and keep everyone happy.
I'm not sure what you were expecting.
However to bring us back to the topic at hand, here's another surprise. I can't find the damn link to the mickey mouse write in campaign stuff. If I ever do I'll post it but for now I'll rescind the claim until I have some evidence. Still for a good chuckle you can google mickey mouse election and see... oh about ten million results come up.

this is just an election results link for '08, but the part that got me (mickey only got 11 votes last time apparently) is the thirteen people who voted for themselves. (Presumably, or some random person they know)
In the whole country I think I'd have expected more. I was also surprised to see there wasn't a single vote for Voldemort... and there were campaign stickers everywhere for him. I laughed my butt off the first time I saw one.
