The best line of it all, applicable well beyond the question of Autism Spectrum Disorders, was this:

«The pursuit of normality is the ultimate sacrifice of potential.»

It even tops my previous favorite quote about normality, by A. Einstein:

«Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are even incapable of forming such opinions.»
