When the Whigs dissolved, many went back into the Democrat Party in hopes their voices would be heard and effect change from within. Other Whigs joined and help set the foundation of the Republican Party

And they didn`t do a single thing to help the President or the nation............. after the worst crash since the great depression....ZERO!!

Nope Harry Reid and his iron grip on the Senate had nothing to do with the credit cut It was all about the so called obstructionists in the House, even though the fucking Senate has failed to propose a budget over the last 4 years, and Harry won't even let them vote on one.

But hey, Obama is a helluva sports fanatic, and Biden has great teeth.

Yeah, you had some great democrats coming out of that Whig Party, you had Abe Lincoln, Seward, Greeley, Mann and a bundle of others, every one a democrat.  

The whig party was whole cloth absorbed into the republican party to sdoften thier rabid moralistic religious edge, but now they are bleeding back out of their party.
