You funny, funny fellow, you! How, you ask? Because I'm not ALL badass. At heart I'm a pacifist and total mush, and just a wee bit o'badass, for which I am very grateful, but I also live in the real world, have been on my own my entire life, and have had no to protect or take care of me.
I know, and have seen, what happens in this world. I know of the cruelty, selfishness and inanity of most people. I do not expect them to change who and what they are, so I will do what I need to protect myself, so that I might live another minute, hour, day, or year. Seeing how quickly society is crumbling, I believe it is incumbent upon me to be as proactively responsible for my own safety and well-being as is reasonable and possible.
