LMAO... it's getting thick....

A White House petition gathering force calls for citizenship to be stripped and exile for anyone who signs a petition in favor of a state's secession.

"Mr. President, please sign an executive order such that each American citizen who signed a petition from any state to secede from the USA shall have their citizenship stripped and be peacefully deported," the full petition reads.

Hmmm.... Deported where?

Deport em to Havana and they can take over the local government and refuse to learn to speak Spanish.

Then we can wait a few years and go back in and take them over again!

Dear God, no. Let's not make the same mistake twice.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam (R) says that he doesn't believe secession is "a valid option for Tennessee."

The Tennessean reports that the Republican governor made the remarks in weighing in on a petition to secede filed by a resident in his state with the "We the People" program on the White House website.

According to the Obama administration, petitions must receive 25,000 signatures within a 30 day period to qualify to be reviewed. The website explains: "If a petition meets the signature threshold, it will be reviewed by the Administration and we will issue a response."

Residents in more than thirty other states have also filed secession petitions in the wake of the presidential election.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) came out against a petition filed by a resident in the Lone Star State on Monday.

All this tough talk and posturing, chestpounding and whining...............but when a tornado, hurricane, flood or earthquake hits them.............where to they come for help?

The UNITED STATES of America!!

tweakabelle -> RE: Obamaphobe "secession" & "armed rebellion" movements (11/13/2012 7:57:18 PM)

If you guys are going to let the looney Right secede (and I can see why some might find it attractive), could you please round them all up first and re-locate them to some like Kansas, somewhere right in the middle of the USA?

That way, they would be totally land locked and securely contained. The rest of the world would have the USA forming a nice strong security barrier around them and they would be unable to harm anyone - except themselves (see, I told you the idea had merits didn't I?) Thanks guys. [:D]

tazzygirl -> RE: Obamaphobe "secession" & "armed rebellion" movements (11/13/2012 8:01:27 PM)

They want out. Why should we be the only one's to have to suffer?

There`s a few uninhabited islands off of Australia.....can we send`m down under with you chaps?   [8D]

I can understand the looney left in panic mode over secession. If all the red states secede together, you won't have anyone to pay the bills. If you are lucky though, maybe those Illegal aliens will hire you to haul off their trash.

DON'T YOU DARE EVEN DREAM OF IT. NO WAY. NEVER. NOT NEGOTIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Tazzy, the idea of sending your looney Rightwingers to the Southern Hemisphere might be a bit more palatable if and when the French start nuclear testing in the South Pacific again.

Until then, best you guys file it under "impossible dreams". Australia has very strict quarantine laws designed to keep contagion out of the country. [:D]

tazzygirl -> RE: Obamaphobe "secession" & "armed rebellion" movements (11/13/2012 8:20:13 PM)

hahahahaha

But its such a beautiful dream!

FrostedFlake -> RE: Obamaphobe "secession" & "armed rebellion" movements (11/13/2012 8:21:35 PM)

Passport. Plane ticket. Rented Villa by the Sea. Citizenship application.

It's so easy, I figure the ruckus is about moving the goalposts again. After months of fierce negotiation and gridlock, the Brooks Brothers will relent... and agree to simply oppose everything as they had been doing before deciding to brazenly declare themselves outlaws, rebels and warmongers.

That way, everyone gets what they want.

Tazzy, you're more than welcome to it as long as it remains a dream. In this particular scenario, your dream is our nightmare.

PS: I'm sure you'll understand it's nothing personal - it's a health issue from where I sit.

PPS: Have you considered Tierra del Fuego instead? [:D]
