Mitt Romney,in echos of his 47% gaffe, told some of his biggest backers today that President Obama, using the U.S Treasury,"bought" the election
In a talk loudly panned by his fellow Republicans Mittens claimed President Obama bought votes thru policy initiatives .He went on to say that were he The Democratic candidate in 2016 he would sweeten the offer by adding dental care to Obamacare....he summed it all up by stating we(his party)can fix immigration, but buying votes is hard(supposedly because his party does not,at this time, hold the reins of power...lol)

To my republican friends(or even enemies):
With friends(candidates)like this....or there still folks out there wondering why you lost ?

It's amazing the degree to which he doesn't get it. The proper role of a democratic government is to serve the people. He has no problems with the US government serving him and his 1% buddies. He has serious problems with the government serving the middle class.

He's describing a situation in which both parties should be pandering to minorities, and the GOP is too high-principled to do so, so it instead is condemning itself to get worse results every election as demographics shift. As though simply not advocating self deportation counts as pandering.

A little perspective - the GOP had a model of how the election would go. It failed because they assumed low turnout of minorities. So his focus is on the turnout of minorities, and he's sore about it.

That describes the mindset of the Bourbon aristocracy during the French Revolution - they simply didn't understand why the peasants rose up against them. It sounds like the Cons have been stuck in their echo chamber for so long that their perception of reality is permanently altered. This is the technical definition of insanity, BTW. What we have here is no longer a party, or a political ideology - it has descended into a panic stricken mob.

I need hear no more from him to prove that Chocolat. That ship has sailed
I don't want my President meeting with this asshole,I do hope that was nothing more than a polite gesture. There is absolutely no need to grant this asshole that sort of access.
He has nothing left to offer the body politic...from here on in it has to be clear,to even the most ardent Republican that this man represents none other than his own upper crust cronies.

I am inclined to believe that a lot of people that publicly supported him (MR) privately voted for someone else.

I'd definitely hope so. That's actually quite a pleasant thought.
