I can't find anything in the help section. I do everything it says, get a message 'Account is Closed', but when I search the name.....it still appears. Any thoughts?

I believe the request to delete your account is placed in a queue, and there's no telling how long it will cycle around and be completed. My advice is to delete everything you have in your profile, put it on Hidden status, delete it yet again, and then stay the heck away from signing into it.

The site doesn't delete your account. You must delete it yourself. You can either hide the account and it won't be seen or you can delete the account and not try to sign into it for a while so that it will actually be deleted. It takes a few days at best to disappear. Support may be able to answer things that I cannot as I don't work that area, but this is the simple version I know.
