I custom make discreet collars. This is a piece of jewelry that can be worn in any setting from work, board meeting to elegant night out and of course during playtime. Each collar is made to order and takes between 800-1500 hand worked rings that are woven together for a truly custom made collar. I use a couple different metals for the collars, a copper wire that is sterling silver plated, a true stainless steel that has a nice polish to it, and anodized aluminum. All of these choices will not turn your skin color, will never rust, and have a nice smooth finish to them. We can mix the choices as well if you would like a steel and aluminum mix for example then we could do that as well.
The anodized aluminum comes in a variety of colors from bright aluminum that is polished and shiny looks a little duller then sterling silver but about the same color, to almost any color you can imagine. It is light weight and is suitable for everyday wear in and out of the shower or pool, in the dungeon or anywhere else your day may take you, it is durable and smooth on the skin.
The stainless steel is heavy and very durable. It has a nice shiny finish for it and will not rust or corrode. A collar made with the stainless steel will feel heavy, smooth and warm against the skin. It is a subtle and constant reminder of the bond you share.
The sterling Silver plate is light and truly a beautiful metal. It will not tarnish and can be worn occasionally or every day without worry. We have not gotten any feedback of the plating wearing thin as of yet and we have been making collars for a couple years now but cannot guarantee that the finish wont wear.
We can of course make any design you choose out of gold (plate or solid) and sterling silver (not plated) the pricing on those items will depend on the weave and the length desired. We can make any weave we offer in a multitude of diameters just let us know what you are looking for and of course if you don’t see It just ask. All of our items will be finished as you choose either with lobster claw clasp, toggle clasp, rings for a lock or complete with rings and brass 22m lock (add $5.00) I am currently working on a more traditional look of a cahinmaille collar that is about as wide as a belt and is made from small rings but lies flat against the skin and is smooth. It will be much less subtle then most of the items I make but will post pics when it is complete.
