gungrabber rule # 6
due to the fact that they own guns they can't be very bright
remind them of this often

I am so tempted to answer this.

you have and often

Politesub53 -> RE: All things gun control go here (1/5/2013 4:52:21 PM)

Have and will are two different things, but I agree, I often feel like pointing out the obvious.

Why the leading posts unless it is attempt to get a reaction you can whinge about ?

i believe that is spelled whine
just stating the facts, not complaining
as you say nothing wrong with pointing out the obvious

BamaD -> RE: All things gun control go here (1/5/2013 5:00:09 PM)

Why were there any presumtions I listed that you don't believe

BamaD -> RE: All things gun control go here (1/5/2013 5:04:24 PM)

and by the way why are you making me the subject rather than the subject of the thread

BamaD -> RE: All things gun control go here (1/5/2013 5:10:33 PM)

gungrabber run # 8
sure all the gun laws are aimed at people who own and use guns legally but if we hit them hard enough the bad guys won't have them
talk like the day the gov collects all the legal gun the bad guys guns will magically disapear
pretend that a 50-60 year old would be able to defend themselves agains a 20 year old it they are both reduced to knives and clubs

Lucylastic -> RE: All things gun control go here (1/5/2013 5:12:40 PM)

Whinge is actually a proper word...look it up

BamaD -> RE: All things gun control go here (1/5/2013 5:14:40 PM)

something occured to me today
in the 70s and 80s when the crime rates were higher in the U S than they are today we had a bunch of serial killers who seldom used firearms
they would torture their victims for days we treated them like the monsters they were
today they have been replaced by mass killers who kill no more but do it all at one and they become celebraties

Whinge was the word I used, if I wanted to use whine, I would have.

I am sure that is how you see it

Lucylastic -> RE: All things gun control go here (1/5/2013 6:04:59 PM)

two totally different sounds... of course...you would need to hear them
To whinge implies to complain, usually about a specific circumstance, with the intent of causing something or someone to change because of your actions. To whine suggests making annoying complaints for the sake of complaining
Id go with Whinge too.

I was not whineing just observing and it never occured to me that anyone would change anything they did see the post just before this one
It is true I would like to see a more civil discourse here but that would take a miracle
