First off, a belated Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope your holiday was wonderful.

I've not been in the forums before, so I figured I'd say hello and start exploring.

I hope to meet lots of friendly people. I'm in Missouri and just finding my way around here.

As an aside, I took a look at your profile and there's a whole lot of "go away" in it. I know it's only temp but I would consider that when you rewrite.

Thank you all for the kind welcome. And as for me helping keep poise in line... um... that's probably a bit like asking my 120 pound dog to guard the steak on the counter. Just sayin'.

Jeff, I appreciate the input. What I wrote may be read as a 'go away' by any number of people, but for where I'm at right now it was honest, and I'm working on a variety of things (personal goals) that made it important for me to say what I did. I hope it's not too off-putting, but for now I'll have to take the risk. I will definitely take what you said into account when I do a rewrite, though, and thank you for taking the time to read and to give feedback :)

And Nueva, thank you! I'm a total shoe whore, lol. You should see my closet... *falls over*
