I would very much appreciate any feedback you have to offer on my profile. Not sure if it's a little too vanilla?

The only think I would change would be the reference to doing this since you were about 16 - that might violate ToS.

Many male Dom profiles seem to be led by the kink, which makes some of us (the more cynical ones!) think their lives are led by the dick. [:D]

Yours tells the reader about you the man rather than you, the owner of genitals - it's rather refreshing and welcome.

Yeah, I liked it too.

You do have yourself listed as an expert in many areas, and some may question if someone your age *can* be an expert so often, so you might want to reconsider that.

Gavin, even though you posted in Ask a Submissive, everyone can answer. In this case, I'm a male Dom.

Your main pic is wonderful. You're a reasonably attractive chap, the room is nice and neat (some people show wrecked rooms in the background), and it isn't every day that someone is holding a turtle in the main pic.

Your second paragraph is wonderful. The fact that you work with a great bunch of people shows you to be upbeat. If you're not going to complain about your job, you're not going to complain about anything!

I have only two suggestions:

1. While you describe yourself well, I don't get a sense who you'd like to connect with. Age range? Do you want her to be as sporty and well toned as you? Any other requirements?
2. Your profile reads like someone who knows what he wants but has little experience. That doesn't jibe with the Expert designations for spanking and whipping.

All in all, I really like your profile.

It's a good profile. I'd probably be sending you a message if I were looking. I get a sense of you as a person, and you sound like an interesting person. Let's see, active, lots of hobbies, likes to travel, clean house, nice looking.

Perhaps just one or two lines about what kind of person you want - does she need to be willing to go adventuring with you? Need someone who can keep up with you physically? Want someone who is content to spend a quiet Friday night watching old movies? It's only a minor thing though. Also, if you know, say whether you are looking for submission only in the bedroom, to have the final say in all matters, to make every decision and micromanage (and if you don't know yet, that's ok too, maybe note that you are still figuring it out).

I did really like your pictures. You could add even more since you clearly know what makes a decent profile picture. Pictures of a guy doing sporty things always make me swoon. I was trying to think of a turtle joke but I got nothing.

Great picture. Great delivery of what your life is like. If I were 20 years younger and in your area I'd definitely be contacting you. The experience shouldn't stop anyone who is interested in serious LTR from contacting you. What you have to offer is the possibility of an intimate relationship in which you both learn and grow together.

Yup, I'm going to go with "way ahead of the pack too". That being said I also agree with DarkSteven that I was left wondering what you were looking for in your partner... kink wise or any other way. If I was going to guess it'd be a 22 year old bottom but that's just stitching together your age and the interests you mentioned. I have no idea if you're looking for a long-term relationship or something casual. You toss in "maybe a 24/7 situation" but that makes zero sense given your interests. Were you planning on whipping her 24 hours a day?

What's a day in the life of this "24/7" thing you're pondering?

Thanks for your feedback, I guess I'll have a bit of a think about what I'm after and try and put a few words around it :)

I've had a partner who was been completely dependent on me financially and emotionally. I've also enjoyed subjecting willing partners to day long bondage and endurance punishment involving a range of activities. I guess the 24/7 situation I'm alluding to would involve a constant element of control, but wouldn't involve any particular activity 100% of the time if that makes sense :)

That makes total sense and is what most of us mean when we say 24/7. So now you need to make your profile reflect that somehow.

The only thing I wonder about in your profile is the very last line... "I'm a nice guy most of the time."
Key word here is "MOST."
Not sure why you wrote that, and am surprised that no one else caught it, but it leaves me wondering in a negative way...

Ahh ok, maybe it's a little ambiguous, I'll think about revising/getting rid of that line. I guess I was trying to say I'm a nice guy fundamentally, but in the context of the lifestyle I can be anything but (maybe that's a given, and therefore not worth mentioning!) :)
