I usually only look at the women's profiles here and especially those who are looking for submissive men. A trait I've been noticing lately with the younger, allegedly dominant women's profile is that the vast majority are calling themselves "Findommes". They almost always have a picture, sometimes more than one, of a gorgeous young woman, usually displaying her middle finger for the camera. Then, in the written part of the profile, they emphasize that they are looking for "Pay pigs" "Human ATMs" and talk about "Raping your wallet". They then make clear that there will be no contact other than online before, or even after, said "Pay pigs" send them money and/or buy them presents.

This is not a rant against professional dominants. Quite a few of my friends and favorite playmates do domination professionally. But it is very easy to make up profiles here, and I'm sure to set up accounts at PayPal or whatever, without having to prove that you are who you're profile says you are or that the pictures on it are actually pictures of you. I could easily create just such a profile and account, and I am, by no means either young, gorgeous or dominant.

Every day, it seems that a dozen or so new young "Findomme" profiles appear here. Now, my knowledge of economics says that lots of "sellers" jumping into a market indicates that there's money to be made in that market. I'd bet money that half these young "Findommes" look a whole lot more like me than they look like the pictures on their profiles. So, my question is, what idiots are sending money or buying presents for these young "Findommes" with absolutely no proof that they are who they say they are?

It doesn't matter what they really look like if there will never be a meet.
If what they get from the fantasy is sufficient, then they're getting their money's worth.

Whether or not you consider it overpriced is not the question. Obviously they find a value in it or they wouldn't do it.

You should do a search for "is fin domme a legit form of D/s?" I think you would enjoy that thread. But to answer you question, yes there are guys who enjoy sending money to those gals.

And I'll make the same comment about OP's "allegedly dominant" thought. If they are successful in getting someone to send them money then I'd have to agree they are, in some form or another, dominant. It ain't my cup o' tea for sure but I never got my invite to the BDSM oversight committee meeting so I'm in no position to squint at someone else's label usage.

I can't say for absolutely sure, but it seems as though the persistence of the new and old Findomme profiles indicate plenty of interest in what they have to offer. Doesn't seem like their audience is too concerned with who they are...? I don't really get it either, but that doesn't seem to negate the phenomenon from happening anyway. To each their own...

As a young findomme, I can completely understand why people would be skeptical, but let's just say I'm not only in it for the money, not to say that there aren't fake findommes out there! Obviously I like having a bit of extra cash, but it's about the actual domination for me. I was told not to enter the community if I was only looking for an easy buck, but I'm here to know my subs, not just take advantage of them. I came here prepared to put some real effort into dom/sub relationships.

The kind of subs that approach me are men who just like to please women! And since I have to be exclusively online for now (identity protection!), financial domination is one of the best ways to be able to take control from a distance. There really are men out there who just like spoiling their mistress.

Not a jab, but just an actual curious question. Isn't your identity more at risk of being stolen over the internet than it is in real life? I've had my pictures stolen numerous times on the internet, but I've never had someone try to steal my face and pretend to be me in real life.

But in all seriousness, I would never post a pic like that. To Me, that screams out " I'm not used to having money, look what I got". And besides, it wouldn't be money, it would be plastic. (Credit cards) lol.

No, that's a legitimate question. By identity protection, I mean keeping my vanilla and CollarMe life completely separate. I never post photos with anything more than the lower half of my face. Nobody will ever see enough to be able to identify me in real life. ;)

Who knows? I often see fin dommes on this boards saying that men enjoy it, but I can only remember one occasion where a man came here saying he enjoyed financial domination and he disappeared almost instantly. It's anyone's guess how many men are actually sending money to these dommes or buying them presents.

Someone posts one of these every two days I swear haha. Yes some men are into it. Some will send gifts and money without verification. Some girls are in it just for the money and there are subs who prefer it that way. If its not your cup of tea then that's cool, don't partake in it but just because it's not your fetish doesn't make the subs who do it idiots, just different than you.

I do not understand the obsession with the non stop discussions of Findommes. Why does everyone get so upset about this?

It is just one of myriad aspects of things that are done here.

It seems such an inflammatory topic; if you disagree with it or don't wish to participate in it, why start millions of threads discussing it?
