I just caught wind of this movie,
The pet youtube trailer

It looks interesting so It's on my list of movies
to watch in the near future, has anyone here
watched it? What were your thoughts? Was it
good/bad?

Online reviews I've read on this movie are all
over the place with people either loving it or
hating it.

I've never seen it, but I do remember there being talk of it here in the forums. I did a search and came up with the following two threads from 2006:

I can vaguely recall there being a much larger thread on it, but I was unable to find it. The word "Pet" is too small to search with and much too common here in the forum.

It was decent. Not great. The human trafficking sub-plot wasn't realistic, at least not in the context the film makers put it in. The main plot was pretty good though.

Horrible movie. It started out with some good premise. He was good looking and of course rich. She was pretty and in fabulous shape. But it lost it for me when it was clear he only wanted her as a dog. No sex. No connection, unless you count "good dog", and walking her. It REALLY went off track when it turned into some slavery saga of illegal back alley (in the penthouse of the wealthy) organ harvesting! Eeesh.

Oh my gawd, that movie is so bad...
Bad story, bad directing, bad acting!

I can't believe this was made in 2006, it's like a
B-grade 80s movie.
