Hi, I've seen a lot of the online Dommes talk about Teamviewer (or is that Team Viewer) and I was wondering what it is and how it's used in domination and slave training?

It's a programme you install on your computer that allows another person to log in and control your computer remotely. It means they can look through your files, make copies of your photos, get your passwords, make online purchases, email your mother and employer... basically all the things people use passwords and security to prevent.

It's mostly connected to a blackmail fantasy. As in, 'I've got your credit card number/naughty pics/work address so if you don't do as I say I will spend all your money/put them on the internet/tell your boss you're a pervert'. I'm sure it could be used in other ways by an inventive dominant but this seems to be the main fantasy.

Obviously it's a poor idea to give anyone access via teamviewer, no matter how hot the fantasy.

I hadn't heard of it before, it sounds a little dangerous to me but if it floats other people's boats...

I've had subs/slaves approach me asking if I would use team viewer on their computers.
I refuse.
The reality is, IMO there is a legal risk on my part for doing it or using anything I find on the computer.

If used properly it can be useful - for example, it allows my husband to fix problems on his mother's computer from overseas since she is rubbish at it, and we use similar programs at work so a person in one office can install software for everyone. But yeh, you'd be mad to give your password to people you met online. Or be mad to be the dom in that situation, I dread to think what the legal implications might be...

I used it once, to see what it looked like and how it was all set up, etc. I basically just poked around on the tabs that he had open, etc., but I wasn't incredibly impressed. I didn't disable his keyboard so he still had the ability to stop anything I was doing. I did, however, change his desktop picture from a bunch of naked women to My Little Pony.

I just don't get the appeal. It made me feel like a hacker so after 10 minutes of poking around I ended it and uninstalled Teamviewer from my computer. Never again, it's just not my thing at all.

Not true. I had a fellow sub create a dummy pw on YM, allow me access to his pc, and try to cut n paste *******.

I got *******.

Don't know about you, but any online accounting or retail in addition to financial services such as paypal or amazon only show the last 4 digits. And the sub STILL has to enter the pw to complete the transaction.

I've been raped online using Team by approximately 14 different men, over 19 mos. Not once have I gotten into any 'trouble'. Walking into a Team situation is like walking into any bar. Walk in drunk and see what happens.

The only trouble I'm in now is if one of them reads this and says "FOURTEEN??? I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE B1TCH"

I love how people blow off something that is clearly unfamiliar to them simply because it is so foreign to them the mere possibility of any erotica is stunningly absent.

Ok heres my response...If I'm in control and we BOTH know Im in control why would I need that? Sounds like a game player thing and I would suggest that the person go play somewhere else. Im not going to put that much energy into checking up on someone like that, its a waste of time to me, there are only 24 hrs in a day and AI'd rather spend them with a sub over my knees watching my handprint glow on his(or her) ass then be spying on there emails...

This is nonsense. Different websites save one's account/credit information. So when buying, all one needs to do, is know the password, not the full credit card number.
