However, I dont know why people assume this would be with a stranger and involve sex rather than a trusted friend Ive known for 8 years...

and the "family bathroom" was said in jest...wondering where else one could find privacy...but all of that is lost here, and now I know why Ive never posted here nor will again.

Ok, so you have a "trusted friend" you've known for eight years....does he also know your husband? You really just don't get it, do you? Your husband could be the biggest asshole on the face of the planet, but it still doesn't make what you are planning to do behind his back and ok thing to do.

You and this "friend" are both married, and I've little doubt that in the course of eight years you have each met the other's spouse. So you have both decided that each of your spouses doesn't deserve any respect. OP: I think all the others have given you very good advice and something you should think about.

To you, it's just a bit of spanking with a close friend.
But to many, that sort of thing would be viewed as cheating - myself included.
And if that view is so popular/common amonst us here who indulge in such activity far more openly that many others, you can bet your bottom dollar that is very likely to be the standpoint taken by your other half and the spanker.
What if you liked it? You obviously like the fantasy. Would you continue to do it with your friend?

Apart from which, getting caught is something that could end with both you and him getting a criminal record.
Not to mention the shame of it and a possible divorce from hubby.

No matter how you look at this fantasy, you really need to wise up and take notice of what has been said.
The way I see it is this -
1) You would be cheating on your hubby - that's a definite no-no.
2) If you don't get caught, you'd have to live a lie and hope he doesn't ever find out.
3) You need serious words with hubby. If he won't play ball, you need to seek a divorce and leave.

Honestly, you really need to sit down and work out what you want to do.
And by the way, nobody ever trusts or likes a cheater. Just bear that in mind.

Yup. And honestly, the OP knows it's cheating or she wouldn't be hiding it from the respective spouses. The golden rule is if you're sneaking around with someone because you know your spouse would be hurt or angry, then it's probably cheating, regardless of the activity in question.

I'm not an uptight soccer mom, but if I heard "spanking" noises coming from the "family" bathroom somewhere, I would likely call the cops. The spanking sounds and the crying would lead me to believe someone might be beating their kid in private.

I am very glad that I posted my question...Just so you know, I was not thinking of a spanking that makes noises and tears and crying that would alert someone, or subject anyone else to something that I find exciting. It is good advice to forget about trying to do that and maybe try with my husband one more time, and if he still doesn't want to, well, there's always living in the world of imagination as I have been.
