Adding a bit of specificity to LittleMsMary's "up-front" thought: Your Master gave you permission to have a lover, but not necessarily a Domme. There is (or at least can be) a different dynamic there. So be sure that he is OK with that.
One other thought (and this probably riffs off LMM's "expectations" thought): If any aspect of either D/s relationship goes beyond the bounds of play times, you need to figure out in advance whose rules get obeyed when his conflicts with hers. Personally, I think he should "win" since he was with you first.
That said, do not be afraid to talk to him about something that she wants that may conflict with what he wants. Maybe it doesn't -- or maybe he has changed his mind. For example, say that you have always been shaved since before you met him. But she wants you to grow a landing strip. Unless he just reminded you yesterday that you must always be shaved, he may not care, or he may have changed his mind, or he may be simply intrigued by a change, or it may be an acceptable variation (e.g. maybe his thought about shaved is just that he doesn't want hair around your pussy, but above it is fine with him).
