LiliesDoGrow -> RE: Posers Online (6/20/2006 3:49:51 PM)

I for one like "newbie Doms". They have that outdoorsy just washed smell about them.

And ya don't have to worry about whippers elbow with them.

OedipusRexIt -> RE: Posers Online (6/20/2006 3:55:53 PM)

Everyone was a newbie at one time.  Why the OP thought it needed exposing is beyond me.

What do non-newbies smell like, I wonder?

(sniff?)

enthralled -> RE: Posers Online (6/20/2006 3:59:45 PM)

Don't they smell like a tack shop??? ... or was that a troll?  [&:]

I don't know OedipusRexIT. Probably like Zombie sweat.

j/k

All Doms smell like roses in my dreams.

TxBlkMistress -> RE: Posers Online (6/20/2006 4:06:56 PM)

hmmmm....well, I guess I am a poser....I have a life, I don't have time to sit at a computer and track down the names of all the fetish models.   Silly me I'm usually looking at what they are wearing and not them.  And honestly, I don't go to fetish sites really, either I use what I have or I've made many friends that make things for me.

wow...all this time I've been wrong.  I thought I was a Domme because I've been practicing my craft off and on since I was twenty, and all the time I just needed to waste my life sitting in front of a computer learning all the names of the fetish models.

I wonder how many "serious" Dommes/Doms answered your bogus profiles and got hurt by "you" an obvious fake.  But oh, I guess their feelings were restored when you simply explained that your "lies" were just for research.

way to go!   like Lisa said above, let me know how that world is round thing comes out, oh wait, I'll just wait for your book.

juliaoceania -> RE: Posers Online (6/20/2006 9:07:09 PM)

I am wondering what you were supposed to be illustrating to your friend? That dominants do not keep track of fetish models? Let me get this straight, because you have zero interest in the images of fetish models to beat off to, this somehow makes you less of a dominant? What do two sites on the internet have to do with the lifestyle at large? I am truly curious to your answers.

Another question I have, what does knowing who some female in a picture is have ANYTHING to do with worth in your small mind? Your father may have been a skilled dominant for all I know, but from your behavior you display anonymously I would have to say he was not as talented with his parenting skills as he was with his whipping skills. But then again, your behavior really doesnt reflect on anyone but yourself I suppose.

I will not even bother echoing the sentiments of others that posted on this thread already, other than to say one has to have worth within themselves before they can spot it in others

Daddysredhead -> RE: Posers Online (6/20/2006 9:21:28 PM)

<------  See this picture?
This is a picture of:
a woman,
a mother,
a daughter,
a sister,
a lover,
a friend,
an enemy (to some),
a hard worker,
a person who cries,
a person who laughs,
a person who has succeeded,
a person who has failed,
a person with a past,
a person with a present,
a person with a future,
a person with dreams.
Know who you are and embrace it.

To the OP, do you know who you are?

I have been amused by how many posers there are online.  To prove my point to an acquaintance, profiles were set up here and on Bondage using a photo of one of the most famous fettish models there is.... Eve Ellis.

Only 2 Dom's from Bondage recognized Eve in the photo.  The other Dom's that are now quite displeased that I led them astray with that photo are in such a huff.  Yet, gauging by the emails I have received, most are posers -- they are in pretend land.  Did I lead some astray with the "forced breeding" and K9 training -- LOL -- yes I did.  It's a really deviant world -- don't assume I'm an innocent.

So before you go galloping off on your rocking horse of righteous indignation -- stop to contemplate a few things:

Am I a poser because I did this as a proof of showing an acquaintance what the online BDSM world was like?

Am I a poser because I chose to use an image as a "red herring" to test people's worth?  For those of you that don't know what that term means, a red herring was used to drag across the path to throw off the dogs trailing people.

But what if I told you this bit of info -- not only do I have an understanding of the lifestyle, my own father owned a dungeon for several years and also appeared on HBO's Real Sex.  Alas, he gave it up because he literally got "whipper's elbow" -- for those in the vanilla world, that's tennis elbow.

Am I actively in the BDSM world -- no.  Does that mean I am ignorant of it -- obviously not because a lot of Dom posers took me for legit.  I respect people that choose this as their lifestyle and do not judge them for it.  I respect the man in my life which allows me to let him take lead in our personal relationship - and something must be right because we've been together for almost 11 years.    But don't expect me to be submissive to others -- I know exactly what I want and I lay the groundwork to achieve it.

I'm making this post for 2 reasons:
  1. Alerting others that are new to this world to not be taken in -- there are a lot of posers and newbie Doms online.
  2. I believe that there are a lot of men & women out there that find themselves at these sites because they are lacking something vital in their personal life -- whether that be respect or companionship.

You will find it hard to fulfill your needs with someone else until you are happy with yourself.  Love yourself.  If BDSM is the way for you, good luck and God bless.  But if you are looking at it as a substitute for something vital lacking in your life, make sure you are also exploring all alternatives in your life.

Ooooh!  Great job Nancy Drew!
DAMN!
And you have to be from MY town (or maybe not??? - start the spooky music here).  I'm embarrassed (mostly for you though).

Dear Loki...
didn't want to play guessing games for fear of being labeled a "poser."  LMAO

Wulfchyld -> RE: Posers Online (6/20/2006 10:09:40 PM)

That’s a very cute "pose" in your pic. Who "posed" you? A professional pic "poser"?

*wonders if she feels all vulnerable and exposed now*

Smiling

Daddysredhead -> RE: Posers Online (6/20/2006 10:26:51 PM)

Thank you, Loki...

(*wonders if she should grab a robe and cover up, as she is feeling so ex"posed" right now...*)

giggles...
