I would like to know if anyone has done this? Can it be done without causing internal damage? Any information is much appreciated.
~Thanks in advance~

The simple answer is "probably not", but actually this is a more complicated question then it first appears.  Violet wands are Tesla coils and they operate in the RF range.  The shock from a violet wand is delivered when you move close to the discharge and sparks "jump" to your body, just like when you shock yourself touching a door knob (static electricity).  Once you're in contact with the violet wand, you no longer feel any shock because your nerve system can't detect electrical current above about 20 kHz, BUT you still have RF frequency current traveling through your body.  The current is very low amperage in the radio frequency range and has the potential of causing nerve or deep tissue damage (burns), not unlike a microwave oven.  Does it?  I don't know.  Violet wands are pretty small Tesla coils, but I don't know what the threshold for injury is.  Considering you are not feeling any effect, why would you want to do it?

You can use a sound with a T.E.N.S. unit which operates in the correct frequency range for nerve stimulation.  You will get sensation anywhere from a mild tingle to an unbearable shock.  T.E.N.S. units do operate at higher amperage though, so unless you are very familiar with what you are doing, it is best to follow the "keep it below the waist" rule to avoid disrupting the heart.

I've made a sound, seveal speculums, nail board, a clit vacuum sucky thing, and nipple clamps (bi polar / seperate channels) all for use with my PES Electo box and they all work great.  I pretty much can make you cum or torture your most hidden secrets from you!

Hope this helped.

Just a question.  Why do it?  If the spark jumps to the sound, the subject can't feel the electricity since what is felt is the impact.  If the spark jumps to the penis, why the sound?

The current output of a violet wand is pretty harmless; it's the sensation people seek

Isn't that what I said?  Damn, I'm gonna have to learn to be more concise! LOL!

There is an attachment that the subject would hold while feeling nothing until the person comes in contact with any metal device, or anything that carries a current. It sounds scary but I found just recently on another site it can be done safely as long as its on a low setting. There is no internal arching from what I have read, but I will stay clear from doing this until I get a live demonstration. I'll just stick to my T.E.N.S and P.E.S for now.

Thanks for the info

Anyone else that needs more info on a Violet Wand go to www.violetwands.net

Hotch nailed it...and was very concise!

As well as the above mentioned TENS type units and sounds, there are other devices for this type of play as well.  I have a Folsom generator and an electric cathetar for it ;)  The cath is a single pole device, so you'll need something else to complete the circuit..say a single pole butt plug, or even a cock ring.

Folsom's a bit pricey on these devices, but they work well and their box delivers lots of power (good for a sadist like me).  If you want a much more versatile electric box, I can't say enough good things about the Erostek box.  They are the most versatile boxes I've found and can be programmed to do INCREDIBLE things.

The sensation you speak of is from arcing.  Just from the subject to ground.  It's a mild spark and needs darkness to identify.  The sensation is at the location of the subject-ground point not where the "body pad" has been attached.
