Its called an ultra light they don't require a pilots license & can arrive in a kit via UPS. The only catch is using commercial highways for landing except in extreme emergency is grounds for the police to take your toy & throw you in jail!!

Richard bach writes about flying in ultra lights in ” the bridge across forever”.
He uses one to commute in real life.

This guy flew into the gas station, then flew out. Anywhere but russia he would have left station in handcuffs

Toys they are cool, parents looked into one growing up. Got to fly a couple times, decided I liked fixed wing craft better
