It can be, yes. I've had such stuff done in the past. There are lots of forms of fireplay.

I would definately call it fire play, however, I have never seen anyone do it that way.  It's not typical at the places I have been.

No, that is not 'typical' fire play. Actually, it's some pretty dumb fucking shit. Anybody with one good eye can see that the candle used in the shoot was some cheap piece of crap beeswax that wasn't even a high enough quality for the dye to have been poured with the candle. Instead, it's dipped, meaning the candle had a white core and then the candle was 'dipped' into the red wax to coat the outside.

I couldn't watch the whole thing. I stuck it out for about thirty seconds and shut it off. I have a very low tolerance for those who would rather worry about the excitement factor for the viewer, rather than safety.

Yes, fairly crappy, really. I mean, second clip: technically one should remove one's underpants before lighting the damn things! This guy has no finesse! As for the first one, I can smell the singeing hair from here! Eugh!. Completely agree with LadyPact on the unsuitability of the candles being used; but of course, this is just a bit of cheap bdsm porn. What happens to the bloody things if you don't squirt, as well!! lol. Some seriously singed fanny! (That's what we call pussies over here in the UK, for you US readers!). I've had it done but I've also been burned by cigarettes and such so for me personally, it was never a big deal. Yeah, sometimes I was left with burns but it's all part of what is acceptable to you and yours. If you're both ok with the possible effects, imo that's all that matters.
