How did I know Dusky was the poster when I saw this scroll by.....? Do they roll for cleanliness in snow as well as dirt in the summer?

I think more for the fun, chilling stimulation, which make them feel "strong" and frisky. Glad you liked it.

I've never known a horse that rolls in sand, earth or water in summer to feel that way, as it's usually to scrach their itchy or sweaty backs, or just because it feels good, especially during or after being ridden. Something along the line of us taking a shower to wash off the day.
