I couldn't find a study that listed the percentages in the UK, but the one I did find for the US had a similar percentage listed (14.8). The difference was that their percentage was of those people that 'meet standard diagnostic criteria for at least one personality disorder as defined in the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-Fourth Edition.' Not necessarily a serious case, as you claimed. For that matter, the cluster B type disorders are only a fraction of personality dissorders in general, so the number would be even smaller. I'm not sure what you are trying to get at with your numbers. I do know that diagnostically, we are defining more disorders, so the number of people that fall under those classifications is rising, simply because they now qualify, whereas previously it would have been brushed off as a quirk of theirs (for the less than serious cases). If you aren't capable of dealing with someone with a disorder, then stop dating people with disorders.
