WHAT HAPPENED:

WHEN YOU COULD NO LONGER DISCIPLINE YOUR CHILD FOR BAD BEHAVIOUR?

WHEN YOU COULD NO LONGER HUG YOUR CHILD, FOR FEAR OF PEOPLE THINKING YOU ARE MOLESTING THEM?

WHEN YOU COULD NO LONGER TALK TO YOUR CHILD?

WHEN YOU COULD NO LONGER PLAY WITH YOUR CHILD?

WHEN YOU COULD NO LONGER HAVE A VOICE IN YOUR CHILD'S EDUCATION?

WHEN YOU COULD NO LONGER PROTECT YOUR CHILD FROM THE DEBAUCHERY, AND AVARICE, OF THIS SOCIETY?

WHEN YOU COULD NO LONGER TRUST YOUR CHILD, AS MUCH AS YOUR ENEMY?

WHEN YOU COULD NO LONGER MAKE DECISIONS FOR YOUR CHILD?

WHAT HAPPENED?

CHAOS, OPEN REBELLION, HATE, GREED, MENTAL ILLNESS, CRIME.

THESE ARE THE RESULTS OF WHAT HAPPENED.

SOCIETY BLAMES THE PARENTS.

THE PARENTS BLAME SOCIETY.

ENTROPY EXISTS.

SELF DESTRUCTION WILL TAKE PLACE.

SOCIETY, AS A WHOLE, WILL IMPLODE UNDER THE SHEER WEIGHT OF OUR FOLLY.

WHAT HAPPENED?

WE HAVE FAILED AS ADULTS.

AND THE CHILDREN HAVE REIGN.

Unfortunately the publisher I was with, capitalized the title and the body. My original was properly written.

And the work wound up in a compendium of Modern Shorts, and is in the Library of Congress. I am currently working on two novels that I hope to have finished in about a year.
