This brought tears to my eyes.

I hate these kinds of stories. At least he's alive....I've never lived in an apartment, but i've been in plenty. I could almost always hear SOMETHING from the other apartments....music, tv, even footsteps. I wonder if any neighbors heard this little boy crying.

You've been visiting the wrong apartments. [:D]

I wondered the same thing..... that no one heard him.

Damn. That's heart breaking.

Sadly many people train themselves not to hear or see things in today's society.
My best friend in HS overdosed and her 9mth old son was in her trailer for 2 days and no one thought twice about him crying.

FR

He's a trooper though. I was touched that he put lotion on the body, like he tried to take care of her. I hope he has some loving family to take care of him.

that's kind of what i was thinking, although i've been in some really expensive apartments. But, the type of crying and/or screaming that a starving child would do....i would think someone would've had to have heard SOMETHING. And ignored it.

This story is really disturbing. This is a reminder why we always *need* to build ourself a support system. Heavy.
