I would think applying ice right away may help, just as it does for any swelling.

You could also use arnica cream or pills. They are an all natural herb used to treat and prevent painful bruises and swelling. They can be found at many health food stores.

Some people rub them out. Although most health professionals will tell you not to do this. It can be dangerous. Yet, I still know people who know the warnings and do it all of the time.

Bruise plaster has always worked well for when I actually wanted a bruise to go away.

I would suggest that you and your Master try to refine the biting technique, since the way Y/you do it is harmful to you.

Does this always occur, or only of he takes a good mouthful? Maybe then you could settle on him taking small bites (so he pinches less skin) ? It hurts more, but doesn't go as deep.

I wish at times that my body could take more, for an example i get scars if my skin on my neck or arms is sucked until it bruise, and no matter how much i like the feeling, scars aren't the way to go(at least not for me). But hey, there are so many other fun things to do ;)

have him try just biting but not sucking?

And witchazel is good for bruises - never come across anything better

Those knots you get are a collection of toxins and muscle tension brought on by the stess of the bite. Herbs, water, and anti toxins are helpful. But also to help get rid of the knots, have yourself or someone take there thumb, and slowly press firmly down. Sure the pain my be a hard to take but keep pressing untill you can't take it anymore. Then release and continue as needed. Follow up with massaging the area. This disperses the toxins. So drink lots of water to filter it out of your system before they come back together and from another knot.

Nodding the knot is an edema.

The same as a skin briuse only more so.

The only solution is for him to modify his technique to be less destructive. Your body is going to deal with it how it does,no quick fixes for this sort of damage but not to inflict it to begin with.

And PLEASE be aware that the average human mouth has more pathogens than an average sewer-hard bites also carry the risk of going to a septic infection if they break skin..
