Sure. And there are women that love the scruffy biker look, or the heavy metal dude look, or the body art types.

Be yourself, it'll make it easier to avoid mismatches, and to find someone compatible.

Personally, I love the dichotomy. Master can look like the bad ass biker (evidenced by the photo). He can also, look yuppily handsome in suit and tie....not to mention the fact that he can recite Shakespeare leaves me dewey.

I have a beard because I have "5 o'clock shadow" by 10 AM. I could get the Don Jonson "wino look" before some guys needed another shave. My wife at the time preferred a beard to whisker burns, so I grew a beard.

I don't have any preferences for beard/no beard, other than I hate having a raspy face and I hate shaving.

I have a full beard it gets trimmed occasionally mostly just around the mustache as I dont like when I get my beard stuck in my teeth. Ive never been worried about being found less attractive because of it mostly because if your the sort I care to get to know then my look will be fine. Plus working out side year round ya cant beat having a warm face.

What does men enjoy about keeping facial hair? Something I don't get.

Euhm... I am into goatees.

Carol was very definitely not into facial hair. I can't remember why but on a lark I grew a beard and she never missed an opportunity to tell me how much she hated it. So there we were going to hawaii one year and when we got to the condo I whipped out a razor and shaved it all off. I figured the snorkel mask would seal better without it. When I walked out of the bathroom you'd think I had killed her kitten or something. So now I'm stuck with a mustache and goatee.

Isn't that some sort of weird facial hair bait & switch? I think in retaliation you should put on 80 pounds and stop liking sex.

Yeah totally! Finally somebody who gets how much I was coerced into this marriage with by false pretenses and malicious misrepresentations!

Got 20lbs going already... the I don't see the sex part happening though, unless he turns vanilla... and considering that I've always found vanilla sex dreadfully boring I don't think it'd count as "stopping".

I don't get it either and have always wondered that myself.
I'm not a fan of facial hair...at all. I can tolerate a goatee but anything beyond that, no thanks. My husband tried the beard and mustache thing for a short time but I was turned on as much as a broken lamp.

Some men can pull off a goatee, some a beard, and they look great...but I'm not intimate with them. What does it say about a person with facial hair? Nothing, really. To me it's more how they maintain it.

Who would have thought facial hair was such a
big issue.
Fun fact, I try to keep anyhair growing off me
shorter than half inch, it's just neat and tidy...
I hardly ever shave anything bald though... Thats
to much work and aftercare with rashes and
trying to avoid ingrown stubble etc...

If I had to guess, I'd say two thirds of the time I
will have some kind of face hair happening, and I
couldn't care less what it looks like as long as it
feels neat and tidy.

*shrug* I honestly can't remember what made me swap over to the goatee and mustache. What I get out of it now is "pleasing Carol".

edited to make special note of the fact that I'm an obviously better husband than Ishtar's husband. She needs to file a complaint with the appropriate board

He says it doesn't matter if you're a better husband, because he's obviously a better Dom for doing what he wants instead of pandering to his supposed slave.... at which point I got into a slap fight with him about whether or not he actually has a supposed slave...

Well, one of the reasons for having a moustache, I've been told by a friend who has recently cultivated one, is that you don't have to snip or pull unsightly nasal hairs anymore. You just comb them neatly into your whiskers.

Men are often much better than women think about dealing with their various types of disgustingness to the opposite sex. It's an art that comes with wisdom and maturity.

Anyone with a beard is almost certainly a closet gay, Baroana.

I hope that helps.
