This is refreshing. I don't have to tone down my Dominant nature with acquaintances or coworkers here.

I'm new to this site, but I have been in Ds and pseudo-Ds relationships as long as I have been dating. It has been an incredible learning experience and I feel truly lucky to have shared such an experience with those submissives.

Collarme.com (and collarchat.com) seems to have a good amount of information in both breadth and depth on the lifestyle, and I look forward to immersing myself in the culture.

I fully understand the need to "tone down". It seems like the only people further into the closet than the female sub is the male dom (at least where I live where being Politically Correct is considered "the only way")

That's a great way to build bridges Isambard *smile*...........Good luck to you.
Being politically correct over here means you know how to spell the words 'politically correct'.

Welcome to the CM community! I googled your name as I didn't understand what thezeppo and dvr were referring to and learned something new today. Very interesting choice for your screen name, are you an engineer as well?

Thanks for the introductions, everyone.

TieMeInKnottss: I have a feeling it will be a wonderful haven.

Dvr22999874: I see what you did there...

SubvsSlave: Thanks! Yes, unfortunately. I fear it's terminal.

No, "dominant" is allowed here. You will, however, quickly find that rude asshattery is still rude asshattery and you'll find many a sweet sub ready to explain that to you in crystal clear terms ~grins~.

Welcome to the boards.

You know Jeff, I was just about to type "rude asshattery" but I switched it to "Dominant". now I'm incredibly glad I did.

*laughs* Probably wise. Please understand that we get our fair share of "swaggerdoms" that stroll through and think that because they checked a box on an internet website that entitles them to something. The subs get pretty tired of typing, "I may be a sub but I'm not YOUR sub". That's all I was referring to. It's not that I read anything in your post or profile that led me to believe you were in that camp.

Welcome, and tell us how hard it was to build the Great Eastern and Great Western. Great man, that was. Enjoy the forums!

No problem, Jeff.

"Swaggerdom" is hilarious, by the way.

Edit: Caneman: those bastard journalists tried making me look lazy. Lean against some huge anchor chains once and you're immortalized with them.

Welcome IKB, hope you have time for some fun here, though I suppose you'll be off all the time building ships, bridges, tunnels and what have you!
