Well on one hand you've put 1 1/2 yr into this but on the other if your body is the attraction here how long will it be before maybe the body doesnt look as good for whatever reason. Or another one looks better to him?

Estring hit the nail on the head with his advise, listen to what your Dom has said. He said he didn't consider you in his move to California--big red flag. He is telling you it is over but he is trying to be nice so he can use your body a little more until he goes. JMO. I truly hope you find happiness in someone who will appreciate the kind person you are!

We have scheduled a three hour block of time to discuss this issue over the weekend. Hopefully I will get some straight answers.

I did find out what he ment by the California thing though. I want to work for CityCorps in Cleveland, Ohio. He didn't think I would want to give that up to move to a strange state.

Ohhhhhhh, you two are not communicating. He should've said, "would you rather stay here or go to California with me?" Giving you a choice instead of making it sound like he didn't consider you. I don't know how old he is but judging by your age these, "I don't know what I want to do with my life" feelings come up all the time and I'm sure that is why he is confusing you. HE is confused. I'm glad you blocked some time out to communicate. Please tell us what you've decided on Monday.[:)]

Good luck.

He is 34, that's what makes it so frustrating. He should be the one with plans for his life and I should be the one figuring things out, not the other way around.

I will let you know what happens as soon as I get back.

midear Princess-

ouch. I have been there- I still am, in many ways. I know how it hurts (and hurts and hurts).

I can't offer any insight, any objective advice, nothing but my sympathy. In the long run, one way or another, it will work out, and that's the hell of it.

stay warm,
Lawrence

We talked for a very long time. It was very good for both of us and I think that we are stronger because of it.
We have decided to keep the commitment time short. We will stay together until I graduate (if everything stays the way that it is now) and decide where to go from there.

Sounds very wise to me.[:)]

It always warms my heart to see two people making a volitional choice to act like adults during a tough time.

Kudos to you both, and thanks for letting us share in your process.

Best wishes -

Thank you everyone for your support and advice. It's nice to know that there's a place I can go where people will be honest with me and support me through confusing and difficult times.
