Thats a fine question! We use quality leather, rivets and hardware in the construction of all our items, so they are all pretty tough.
Naturally we don't know exactly how other people may use these collars, but they are plenty strong for the way we play.
Since we don't know how much pressure is safe to put on the neck or what you might consider a hard pull, we did some tests and discoverted that the way the leather is cut in the design of our Nouveau Double-Ring collar makes it the most delicate of the collars we offer, and even that one can easily take well over 50 pounds of pressure on either ring.
Some of our collars may look more delicate, like our Venetian Multi-Ring with it's intricate Venetian lace, but all attachments are made to the sturdy leather backing beneath the lace so that collar is actually much stronger than it looks.
The design of the choker shown in the picture above is strictly ornamental and not intended to have a leash attached to the central ring.
