I hope you get to know a lot of people and learn as much as you want to. Btw, we had an educational night in one of our groups...presenters came and demonstrated their skills with florentine style flogging, temporary piercings, electrical play, rope work, etc. It was great fun (and yeah, I'm so used to using buckle type restraints that I've forgotten how to do those knots that won't tighten up, aargh).
Several people have recommended BDSM educational books and have a link in their sig line. I would suggest going to Amazon or Ebay and snagging SM 101 by Jay Wiseman to get started. Someday bo and I will buy some ropes and get Knotty Boys, cuz rope work is starting to push both of our buttons.
If anyone harasses you in the mail room, CM gives you the option of blocking them. [;)] Guys that solicit me for stuff...or send copy and paste jobs of ridiculous shiite...I block them first and then go back and "Mark as Spam and Delete".
